I think there was a case of copyright infringement and the thread was probably deleted.

Meanwhile, my bro also got admitted!

Did you guys see the POF requirement? SEK 8,568/month (a total of SEK 102,816)

Hello sir,

Please I will implore you to make some personal efforts to research schools and the process.

Everyone is a rookie and through the collective efforts of all of us, the thread may be a repository of information for other intending students.

On a general note, Sweden has several universities offering different courses and you can only apply to a maximum of four schools at the central admissions management system, www.universityadmissions.se

The admission process usually starts in mid October and closes by early February. While admission results are released in the first week of April.

I am not an agent or a consultant to give you a full run down of the whole process.

I am also here to share my experience as we journey through the process while also learning from others.

Thank you.

I don't think so. It's 80,000 SEK that the swedish migration board mentioned the last time I read their requirements.

Please, this information is misleading.

It is not about what you think or assume. It is clearly stated on their website.

There is no definite answers for these questions as admissions are very competitive.

What I can only advise is to avoid the popular schools like Uppsala University, University of Gothenburg etc.

All the best.

The fees depend on the school and course. I got admission in Stockholm university for a Master's Programme in Hydrology, Hydrogeology and Water Resources and the school fees is 280,000 sek.

I missed the si scheme.

Yes I did.
I want to also support that with TetFund, but my worry is that before applying for resident permit card, one ought to have paid first semester's tuition installment and due to how sluggish TetFund can be in dispensing the funds, that might eat deep into the timing ... I don't know if the sponsorship letter issued by TetFund can be used in place of the first semester's payment evidence...
Have you applied for the fund already? How does one do that?

This is misleading, bro. Even with the school giving you accommodation, it will still be above that (82,950.00). The details can be found on the site.

Actually, we were not talking about school fees. We were talking about the amount of cash you are expected to have in your account when applying for residence permit and it has nothing to do with the school or course of study other than the facts that it could reduce a bit if your school offers you accommodation.
Re: Swedish Admissions And Student Visa by etrange: 9:01pm On Apr 17, 2021
Guys, on my brother's invoice, they put 28th April as the invoice due to date. Does this mean he has to pay the fees on or before the date?? It's bazaar cause some people are still waiting for scholarship. Secondly, does anyone have an idea what document is acceptable as POF for the required cash-at-hand?

Thanks.

Wait o, should one start applying for permit already, or wait for scholarship results? I thought of the latter and have been folding my arms here.
