Are There Opportunities For An Insectologist In Nigeria?? by Nobody: 7:15pm On Jan 21, 2020
Good evening fellow Nairalanders,
I know Nigeria is currently embroiled in a dilemma called "superiority of certain courses over others" for obvious reasons (bad policy making and extreme bias)

NOW THE BIG QUESTION IS; are there opportunities for an insectologist in Nigeria

I stumbled across an online forum in which questions are asked and answers were provided accordingly; so I decided to ask a question which goes thus: IS IT SAFE TO EAT SOUP WITH COCKROACH PRESENT INSIDE THE POT?? but to my greatest surprise, an insectologist gave me a satisfactory answer recommending that boiling the soup kills the microbes and renders the soup OK for consumption. He spoke in scientific terms too(he was proud of his profession lol).

Can the same be obtained in NIGERIA??

Insects is gold. Pure gold. If you can get the right places to offer your skills. There are few guys doing great work in Insects in Oyo and are raking in good figures.

You yourself know the answer already otherwise you won't be asking.

Who gives a rat's ass about insects in Nigeria other than to stamp on them.

If a cockroach falls into your soup, you better turn that soup away. Cockroaches are carriers of the virus that causes leprosy.

If you like believe some scientist who hasn't eaten cockroach stew before.
