She is mentoring me, what l have learnt so far are,
Follow the training meticulously
Make sure to carry out assignments and projects..
Go to YouTube and learn how to pitch your product or services, if you fall under disruptors , make sure to showcase a sample of your product while pitching. Your pitching must be highly professional.
The last part is your business plan, they will keep rejecting it untill you do a good job . Once your business plan is approved, that is when you have finally arrived and can start planning on what to do with the grant.

Nice
Can someone apply under farming (poultry business)?

You can apply with any business idea, as far as it is unique and can bring in profits for you and provide jobs.
A hair dresser won the best participant in 2018 or so set. It's all about the innovative and achievable business idea that can sustain development in the country, as well as provide employment for others. That's what they look out for. Remember they asked you to select 3 sustainable development points that comes with your idea during your registration.

I am in the disruptor or so Category. I don't even think my schedule will let me participate in the training. I hope I do. I will just take it as it comes, no pressure or tension. What will be will be.

As an aspiring farmer, how will I scale thru video pitching, as I only have business plan

You can do without showcasing your product but it will boost your chances if you sample your product, let's say, yam, cassava or any farm produce while pitching your product. It's shows you know what you are aiming for. It will even boost your morale while pitching, because many ideas will flow in as you hold your product before the camera. As far as, you are into farming, use any farm produce or end product like garri in a packaged nylon bag or plate to pitch, just to show them what you are doing or about to do.

Hi guys. Things to consider for the Tony Elumelu Foundation
1. Be fluent in speaking
2. Know your product well
3. Have a proper pitch deck show casing your product
4. Do a summary video of your product not more than 3mins in video
5. Do a business plan for your product and have it ready (They might not need it)
6. Ensure to have at least one member of your team on ground
7. If you can do a brand (Tshirt of Cap) ensure to wear it during your pitch or video
8. Know your financial analysis well and ensure your business is able to make profit

I guess this could be kick starter for you.

Am here for further questioning. God bless you

This is really helpful thanks a lot

What does a tech startup without product then use for pitching and is there a specific way to pitching?

You are talking of someone that has a product

What of someone who is dealing on a tech startup without an mvp yet?
