Specs at low price is one thing, quality of those specs is another thing. A 48mp camera on a Redmi might not even come close in comparison with a 12mp camera in a Samsung or iPhone. Same goes for display quality. A 1080p 409ppi display on a Redmi, be it AMOLED or LCD, is nothin to right home about in terms of quality of display. in fact you you might even hate watching videos on the phone! Now, what really baffles me is that phones from some other OEMs, even with lesser specs, gives you so much more in terms of quality!

sorry bud,Xiaomi has proved to be not just an OEM that shells out less expensive phones compared to its competitors within same price range but phones of quality specs .
In Nigeria for example ,the redmi note and note 7 pro when launched offered specs which the likes of Samsung and the likes couldn't, from build quality to better chipset to camera ,that note 7 and note 7 pro steered a turning point in the budget phone department ,last year's mi 10 uLtra proved mad specs in terms of camera quality which it stood it's ground against the huawei p40 ,Samsung s20 etc rated by dxomark(a reputable camera output research firm) ,above all Xiaomi keeps its price tag lesser than the rest, tho you can say compromise in some areas negligible in my opinion.

xaiomi aren't top 4 currently for mediocrity but for quality and gaining customers globally,barely 10 years in the industry .

Note: the Samsung Galaxy A52 here was the one I used for the water test last week. So here is the aftermath + full review of the Samsung Galaxy A52.

Make I start with the water test. First, the IP67 rating na true. The Galaxy A52 is Water resistant. Water can't damage it so far it doesn't stay under the water more than 30 minutes.

And just so you know, this is one smartphone I can easily recommend. The cameras are very good. It maintains your skin tone. The primary camera has an Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). OIS helps to take less blurry images. It improves your photography overall. Normally OIS is a camera feature only seen on flagship expensive phones. But na good thing say Samsung put am for the A52.

The 4,500mAh battery lasted me 7 hours screen on time (a full day). All the while I rocked 90Hz refresh rate. So if I had the settings put to 60Hz, the battery life go last more.

the A52 comes with Super Amoled 407 ppi display while the Redmi comes with Amoled 395 ppi display. The A52 comes with a snapdragon 750G, Redmi snapdragon 732G.

Finally! I was about going for Tecno camon 16 premier but everything within the entirety of my being was opting for Samsung A52 but i dreaded the price since i wasn't certain of it and also, since i reside in PH, the price of everything na times 2. Atleast, i'm sure of getting it since the price isn't above 150k. Thanks 4 your input.

baseless write up.. a redmi 7 12mp camera performed better than Samsung a32 64mp camera. Hand held test (phone of my friends) I even consoled the A32 guy telling him that Samsung will push updates to make the camera better

It's as if something is amiss with the Samsung A52. It seems it doesn't come with call recorder i.e recording your calls and also, there's no option for screenshot. I done find tire abi no be Samsung A52 i procure? @Op... can you help out or those features didn't come with the phone?
