How Much Money Do You Have To Make Monthly To Be Considered Rich In Nigeria by Nobody: 11:36pm On Apr 29, 2021
I am no business person, I am a monthly income person. I don't know the average income in Nigeria. My question is this how much money should you have to be considered rich.
or how much monthly income should you make to be considered rich?

Rich is categorized by the number of businesses you control or investment you hold and not about monthly income.

On the other hand, let's say you ear 2.6m per month apart from other incentives, then you are lucky and rich. 2.6m ×12 months = wealth
What majority of Nigerians consider as rich is having a nice house and a car.

meanwhile Please check my thread

Rich is relative.

The amount of income or resources you consider to be wealth is meaningless to another person. This is why a "big boy" income in Nigeria is what a cleaner earns in the USA.

As long as you are able to pay your bills, meet your needs and that of your family, with some good savings/assets to back up, you are rich!

You don't have to wait for someone to consider you rich. If B considers you rich, Z might not. Just be rich in your mind!

Honestly, I will say 500k per month
But what's the point of earning 1 million per month if you don't have savings at the end of the month?
Also both the rich and the poor are still poor when you consider the standard of life in Nigeria. It's too low.

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

This is what Riches and Wealth is.
You don't need Trillions and Billions for it.
Be Content!
Involve GOD Conciously in all your doings ( Big or Small). Put Him First.
The Blessing of GOD on your little thing will give you more life than anything else.

Life is not by Struggle! It is a Gift From GOD. If GOD did not give you, you can't have it! And if you get it outside GOD, it will be Struggle, Pains and Destruction.

2.6M = 5.3k USD.... I don't think Nigerians fully understand what Buhari has done.

If your earning is naira... forget it, you have lost so much value. The average Nigerian millionaire aint rich.

Naira is useless. If your annual income is equivalent to 75,000 USD and above, then you've started arriving .

This question must have been asked by someone below 18 years.. If u have a job that pays 1M monthly and u have projects u are carrying out, do u still consider urself rich ? U can't even call ur self rich even after Working for a year when u have Responsibilities..
meanwhile, Wealth has Grade, Ur 12M Gross take home is someone's hospital bill.

If my monthly expenses put together is... Let's say N200k, for me to consider myself rich I should be making x10 of such amount, that's N2millon.
But then the idea is to become wealthy not just rich..

There are two types of riches: one obtained through hardwork and the other obtained through corruption, embezzlement, bribery and inflated contracts.

The riches through hardwork that involves working your way through the corporate ladder in Shell,MTN,First Bank,Nigerian Breweries etc I would say earning the equivalent of $10,000-$30,000, which is around three to ten million naira monthly when you get to a managment position.
