Hope u meant UK apprenticeship?
During your 1 year internship, where you actually/ actively doing the job?. If yes, that’s your initial work experience for that year?..... forget about the terminology “internship”, if you are confident that you can demonstrate the knowledge gained from that job within that year then, it can serve as work experience...

oh thank you. So u mean after my internship I can proceed to register with hcpc. Is the one year experience enough for registration or I still need to add more while still in nigeria?

Good evening everyone, please my sis has a UK visa due to expire in June, but due to Covid she hasn't been able to go.

Now the issue is, can she extend the visa before it expires? Or she has to go by force.

And if she doesn't go, would it affect her next visa chances, cus she plans applying for US next year.

Someone should help abeg

Is it a visa with an expired vignette or what?

If the visa is due to expire in June it is sure as hell that the vignette has long expired.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by Vignette bro, but it's a 6months visit visa issued in December, to expire in June

They issue vignette for long term Visa alone .

I'm sure he/she hold a visit Visa which doesn't require vignette

You are registered with MLSCN?
Have a current valid practicing licence?
Have 1 year experience of internship?
Have BMLS?

If yes to all, you are good to go.
Shoot your shot.
If English is not your first language, you will be required to write IELTS.

Even UK has been discouraging non essential travel so I would say its absolutely fine if she doesn't use it. If ever asked , she can explained that a pandemic forced her to change plans

It should not affect her future applications. I wonder where Nigerians got the information "that if you don't use your visa, it will affect future applications". There has to a reason why the visa was not used.

Visa issuance, is usually based on quota numbers...... That unused visa, might have been used by a rejected applicant......

That's is the reasoning...... Not using a visa does not necessarily translate, into an automatic future rejection.......

Olómi loma rẹ...... Nah your finger go explain...... cheesy

"The Graduate route will be unsponsored, meaning applicants will not need a job offer in order to be eligible. There will be no minimum salary requirements nor caps on numbers. Graduates on the route will be able to work flexibly, switch jobs and develop their career as required.

Whilst the route will not lead to settlement, those on the route will be able to move into another work-based route, such as the Skilled Worker route - which does lead to settlement - once they meet the requirements"

I was about asking if this is possible because many vloggers are claiming that the 2 years PWS is a scam and a bid to selfishly improve the UK economy.

Thanks boss, I kept saying the same thing but her agent has been deceiving her, he told her that because it's her first visa on the fresh passport she has to use it.
All these agents are just scam..I think he's making use of her vulnerability. He even told her today she has to play 150k landing fees alongside 370k flight ticket..Na watin start our fight today..Why is she playing Landing fees when no be she get airline Or is dat how it's done

I'm still a novice too but I've been on Nairaland Travel Section for too long to b stupid na cry

Oga Ralphjean has done justice to your questions, also you can consider using UK NARIC in place of the IETLS.

Since you studied MLS and u are registered in Nigeria, I think you stand a good chance. Goodluck!
