Over the past week I’ve not been myself, neither has my mum.
The complain started about two weeks ago, after she returned from my uncle's burial, she complained of intense fever. This fever I’m talking about I’m not sure it’s the normal one you see everyday. I mean her body was shaking like a generator, but we were able to subdue the symptoms by recommending malaria-typhoid medications alongside “orphesic” as she’s an ulcer patient.
Fast forward to last Saturday, the condition I saw my mum, I mean I was even scared. She’s always strong, or at least she could manage herself. This time the symptoms became worse. The fever doubled and she complained also of pains in the lower part of her stomach, not neglecting the pounding headaches. We rushed her to a hospital and she was put on bed rest.
The fever lasted for 2+ days. even after medications, It seemed like nothing was getting better.
They’ve managed to subdue the fever as of today but she barely eats anything. We’ve forced her and she only managed to drink tea and chew some biscuit. We’ve prepared hot pap now but no appetite still.
People are suggesting we take her out of the hospital and take her to one prominent man of God, but I believe typhoid doesn’t respond to medications well. It takes time and I believe there’s a right medication.
Pls good people, help us to take my mother out of this her constant pain

she’s in a hospital already. Typhoid and ulcer is still positive.

Typhoid can be stubborn at times, despite treatment with antibiotics, I pray she responds to treatment

sometimes it seems like treatment is progressing, before split seconds she’s having complications again. I’m confused

Fever has stopped. She’s regained appetite and can at least eat half plate of rice. I’m grateful to God for the improvement.

I abit confused since you mentioned lower part of the abdomen.
Culver usually affects the upper part of the abdomen ad when severe will hurt at the back too and sometimes progress to the oesophagus region.
Yes,it can give headache especially when typhoid is in the picture.
Could also be that se has gas in her system,so I will suggest you buy ellicorid for her.It is what I use,
I think a pack costs like 17k or so but it works very rapidly!
I know this because I am also an ulcer patient too(severe case),I've had it since I was a child and since I discovered the drug, life has been better.Very painful experience.

yes it's normal for she not to be able to eat because that level of ulcer bleeps up ones appetite so no cause for alarm.
Yes ,spicy food provokes ulcer especially at that level so if she eat it,its gonna trigger pain so she shouldn't eat it.Let her do more of draw soup.

No,no need to thank me,I can't stand mothers in pain as I love mine so much,I'm still her baby till tomorrow so I can go out of my way to help when it concerns mothers,so no sweat.

I will suggest you make her an out patient while she visits the hospital for check up

Typhoid doesn't go easily but it will definitely go if proper treatment has been taken faithfully

Ulcer is one wicked sickness because you won't know you have it until it gets worse

Some drugs also trigger ulcers, especially drugs that treats pains

Probably her body is reacting to some drugs that are clashing with each other
Let the Doctor review her drugs because of drugs interactions
