Hello everyone. I earn 250k monthly and I get paid upfront of about 1.3m annually. I have savings of about 9000 gbp. However I'm more comfortable with my dad being my sponsor. Please if my dad is sponsoring my uk visit visa other than his bank statements and mine showing my salary deposit.

Do I need to do a covering letter explaining some of the deposits into my account since he is the sponsor?

yes do so. Even though u want to be sponsored, most ECOs still want to see ur bank statement to have a feel of your own personal financial situation... so explain if u can with hard evidence so none of your large credits will be termed ‘money lodgment’

My question now is that the salary I will be paying myself monthly is it going to be a fixed amount or vary?

Secondly...
My wife is working in my company as a secretary and she also named as my 2nd director in my CAC certificate, is it advisable to be paying her monthly salary too? Because is possible to apply with the kids later later .

It's a private limited company registered with CAC.... My wife acting as my secretary in the office and we both runs the business together apart from people who are working with us. We have a block industry, selling building materials and Auto sales.

Does she needed a payslips or appointment letter if she wanted to apply? I think is not necessary for kind of employment she's doing and kind of our business lol lol

But I wanted to start paying her salary through my company account so she can present her statement of account as a evidence of income ?

Please advise us ....so we can start working on your advise before we apply .....
She does not need a payslip since she is named on the cac you just need to include;
Cac registration documents,
Tax certificate
board resolution letter on your letter head saying she is the secretary and traveling for...and is entitled to ...amount which has been agreed that the company account would fund her trip to the tune of....Naira.
She can include her personal account that shows her everyday transaction just to make the application stronger that she has her own money no matter how small.

Good morning guys. Please when they need "call logs " as documents for spousal visa can what'sapp call be use as" call logs" . And also does the profile on the WhatsApp account matter ? Should the person change the profile to match with all the screenshots "call logs " ?

Hi gurus,
As my monthly salary is 365k and my expenses is 60k will there be any with as I will be filling that I I'm married and have 3 kids. Won't this bring up question of how we are able to feed with 60k out of 365k in a month as a family? Kindly reply.

I want to apply for UK visit visa as a business man but my corporate account is dormant.
My question is how important is the corporate account in my application?
Is it compulsory to submit my corporate account statements?
Or can I have cover letter to support why am using only my savings account for business.
Is only savings account enough for me to apply?
Or what is the best option for my since I have only savings account?

no it is not an issue.. if you however want to further explain, you can say this is because both you and yiur wife are financially responsible for the runnin of the home and as such your wife contributes so and so to the home finances. U dnt now then need to show her finances, u can simply state figures

#Tutu82 thank alot ......I believe that is not advisable to use a company account to apply ? Because she was receiving 250k monthly which I wanted to start paying her through the company account by this month Because I just registered for my company account.

She likely to apply with our kids later and use her personal account to apply while I will also support her as co- sponsor with my personal saving account showing my monthly salary paid through the company account for their trip, I will also present a board resolution letter on my letter headed paper and explain her role as a secretary, her salary and traveling for so so date.

Note: Is tax clearance compulsory? And if she wanted to get one can she use her personal saving salary to apply for one?

Please advise us better

u can even apply for a 5 year visit visa, all visas are subject to how well you can satisfy the ECO as regards your ties to Nigeria, why u must come back and why u need a longer durationed visa.
If they are not satisfied on nothin.. no visa..

I did an application for my brother in laws family and this is what i did so you don’t have to follow my advice as there are different routes.

Having a Tax certificate shows good character (that you are law abiding as some people evade Tax).If you are a registered company you should have been allocated what is called a TIN used to pay tax and they randomly check. You can work into any Inland revenue office for further info or look online it’s very straight and quick.

If she was receiving 250k it would show in her personal account which she is including in the application anyways so i don’t see the problem. If you switch it and start paying through your business account it looks suspicious as if you fixed it there for the visa purpose especially if it’s less than 3months worth.
I hope this helps.

Hello nairalanders,
I want to put this info here for anyone who might need it. Sometimes in 2019 I came here to ask this question (Hello
Has anyone here applied for a tier 2 dependent child visa for a child whose one of the parents is not being granted entry clearance under the point base system, because they are separated? Kindly share your experience and how you went about it. This is urgent please). Thanks to @hosey for responding to my query. Unfortunately, we couldn't file for the love child as the sponsor company was not convinced about the step mother's(primary applicant) claim with respect to the child. Fast forward to 2021 and due to lockdown, an application was put forward for the child with the following documents:
1) DNA test to prove parternity
2) Step mother's brp
3) Father's brp
4) Letter from sch in Nigeria stating father has been solely responsible for child's school fees
5) Reference letter from step mother's company (sponsor with maintenance fund ticked)
6) Rent agreement and council tax bill
7) Letter to BHC from father stating why it is imperative for his diughter to join the rest of the family.
cool Letter to BHC from step mother giving consent that she is happy for child to join the family
9) Lettter of consent from mother
10) Child's birth certificate
11)TB test result
12) IHS payment confirmation
13) Marriage certificate showing father was single with a child before marriage.
Timelines
Application submitted 16 April
Biometrics 19 April
Decision and collection email 30 April
Passport pick up 4 May with approvesd vignette valid for 3months
Standard entry

Healhtyliving:
Thank you Hosey for your response. It is a Tier 2 general visa.
Tell us a lot about your application, your situation, your husband situation,The wife is the primary applicant. The husband has a love child that the family would like to add as a dependant. The child has not been adopted legally by the wife, however, the baby mama is willing to give her consent for the child to be taken to the UK.
The Visa outcome The family is yet to apply for the visa, still gathering the necessary documents including medicals and english language assessment for the primary applicant
How many people applied for the dependant visa Four people will be applying for the dependant visa including the love child. The primary applicant (wife) would like to know the documents required for the love child so that the application will be successful and meet the following requirements of the UK’s immigration rules:
Both of child’s parents must either be lawfully present in the UK, or being granted entry clearance or leave to remain at the same time, or one parent must be lawfully present in the UK and the other being granted entry clearance or leave to remain at the same time as child, unless the relevant points based system migrant

I. is child’s sole surviving parent, or

II. has and has had sole responsibility for child’s upbringing, or

III. there are serious or compelling family or other considerations which would make it desirable not to refuse the application and suitable arrangements have been made in the UK for child’s care..

She had a balance of 700k in her account already, So I will be paying her 250k to her account from a company account for 6 month starting from this month so at the end of six month she will have a good balance. Her monthly expenditure is 20k because I'm the one taking care of the house . And for the tax clearance she will use her monthly income to apply for a tax i.e personal tax.

Yes 6months is enough time as that shows a clear inflow over a longer period of time. For the tax bit personal tax and company tax are two different things so don’t complicate your application.Good luck.

@theconsortium

You can use Clina Lancet at Ikeja within 72 hours before you travel and beside why do you want to pay 220 GBP For the test?

There is the test for 159GBP now, AssuredScreening ****. No you can not pay with your local debit card because of the Credit limit of $100 ( Other banks) or $200 (GTB), Here I stand to be corrected on this .

Just get someone out side the country to pay for you or if you have Dorm a card.

Travel safely.

first option: track the application progress by ddownloading "tlscontact track my application app" from google play store, install and track d progress of the application.

2ndly, have u checked d email used for the application both junk email for any response from the embassy?

Please what are my chances to get a Tier 4-Visa?

I have never been out the country. My salary is just 105k monthly. However, i will get help from other sources. I will be travelling with my wife and three kids.

I am afraid to even start the process now knowing that a 105k salary history could mean a visa denial.

I told my friend about this forum and he has been following but currently unable to relate here because of issues he is currently having with his phone. This my friend is planning to attend a conference in October with an opening balance of 400k and monthly savings of 300k after monthly expenses from his personal registered business account. But due to the fact that the conference will be by October he will apply for visa in September. That means his statement of account is not upto 6 months hence, Please we want to know if statement of that is not upto 6 months is a red flag? Is 5 months statement ok for conference visa? Thanks so much
