After reading series of crimes (kidnapping & robbery) committed by ex-uniform personnel in nigeria who had been dismissed from the force because of his/her involvement in crime while serving, so I keep wondering, is dismissal the only way uniform men are prosecuted in Nigeria?

Prosecution leads to dismissal in most cases.

The system is too currupt to punish a faulty law enforcement agent.

Corruption

Dismissal is just to show them that without the uniform they are ordinary men.
