Hello Nairalanders!

Who’s seen the movie Sleepless In Seattle? My stay was anything short of that. Seattle - home of the famous coffeehouse Starbuck’s, Mount Rainer and a foodie paradise has so much to offer. Here’s a list of places and hot spots I visited while I was in town:

Pike’s Market
The Original Starbucks
Seattle Space Needle
Watch the sunset over Elliot Bay
Visited The Columbia Observatory
Brunch (which vodka oyster shooters) at Coastal Kitchen
Enjoyed dinner at Etta’s
Elliots Oyster House is a MUST try
Enjoyed a leisurely stroll through Capitol Hill and Olympic Sculpture Park

I lodged at the Four Seasons Seattle which was phenomenal and even enjoyed a bit of nightlife.

Ba Bar is an amazing Vietnamese restaurant with a great bar scene and vibes. In fact, Seattle has a large Vietnamese population so you’ll find plenty of delish spots to try. I stop by here whenever I’m in Seattle because they have the BEST Pho in my opinion. I can’t find the picture of the Vietnamese beer we enjoyed with this dish, but it went so well with our Oxtail Pho.

Ba Bar is in the Capitol Hill area and an easy Uber ride from downtown Seattle. If you’ve never tried Vietnamese food before, you’re in for a real treat, try any of the Pho’s, but the Oxtail Pho is my personal favorite.

Bloody Mary (made with 2oz of Vodka and tomato juice) Oyster Shooters were from our brunch at Coastal Kitchen (definitely will need reservations)

Wrap up one evening with a walk and great night cap at Deep Dive (located at the Seattle Spheres). This is one of Seattles Speakeasy - it took us 15 minutes to find the “secret” entry door but it was well worth it! Beautiful upscale place, cool vibes and great music.

We were welcome with a glass of Champs (short for champagne) to clean our palate, then we moved on to the Oaxacan Old Fashion and a taste of 15 year Japanese whiskey.

I Love Seattle, That Is Where They Killed The First Galapagos Turtle In 1905.
That Great Feat Was Achieved By Sir Francsis Seatler, An Englishman Who Was In A Fishing Expendition Some 20 Kilometer Off The Famous Babados Coast Of Aljimin.
Infact Seattle Got Its Name From Sir Francsis Seatler..

People that travel within Nigerian cities should be creating threads and posting their own pictures nau.

At least let's see the portorportor and erosion laden ground and be proud of it.

Everytime USA, UK as if other great countries like Nigeria, mozambique and the likes don't exist.

From hidden bars (speakeasies) to delicious brunch options, a visit to the Pacific Northwest in the US is worth the stop. Here are a few fun facts!

There are few cities in the world blessed with a more beautiful setting than Seattle. It is surrounded by rugged wilderness; to the west the Olympic Mountains, to the east the volcanoes and glaciers of the Cascade Range, and all around the brisk waters of the Northwest. Delightfully known as the “Emerald City”, Seattle got its nickname from its lush greenery. The city and surrounding areas are filled with greenery all year round echoing Washington State’s moniker as the Evergreen State. Alas, Emerald City isn’t its only nickname. For pretty obvious reasons it is also called Rain City, the Coffee Capitol of the World (Starbucks) and Jet City (Boeing). Add to that an overall walkability score of 73 and you’ve got pretty much all you could ask for.

What is Seattle, Washington known for? A surprising number of things! Seattle is famous for Starbucks and overall coffee culture, grunge music scene, the Seahawks, the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, headquarters of a lot of the tech industry (including both Amazon and Microsoft), hiking, kayaking, and general outdoors lifestyle (think REI).

Seattle is a crime infested shy thole filled with homeless and drug addicts. Major businesses are fleeing the city because of this.

Saner places are in the suburbs like Bellevue and Redmond.
