Android is upgrading everyday which mean it will definitely consume more storage and android phone do store log and caches so that it can function properly, and you can't delete some of those files.

Do you know that you can't access your phone obb and data folder on android 11. So, some of this can contribute to it.

About that ram management issues, Google recommends that any phone using their os should be atleast 3gb and sometimes its not enough. Most phone manufacturers do modify the os and add some features which are not available on the stock android.

So next time if you buying a new phone, make sure you consider the processor and ram that you really need.

In MiUi,you have the option to lock apps that you don't want to be reloading,to the RAM..

This is a very simple and efficient way to manage your RAM..

The fact that Xiaomi approached it in a different way than what you're used to does not mean MiUi is bad..

It simply means that YOU don't know how to use MiUi..

And that is your problem and not Xiaomi's..

Guy, it is not normal in all phones. It is peculiar to Xiaomi phones. Google the problem and you will see tons of complaints coming from mostly Xiaomi users.

I understand space occupied by system apps and OS. Funny enough, "others" occupies more space than system OS and apps. And the worst thing is that it is not accessible.

I use Samsung and i experience this on chrome, it drags and hangs atimes, scrolling a page hangs. The suspect is Google webview, or if your apps that are linked to Google apps like keyboard etc
