This is rather unfortunate. While I will not out rightly disapprove the annointing with perfume praying ( symbolically with candles) and other stuff that some congregation use to pray, which is based on their believe system ( note belief system) in accordance with their understanding of some Biblical events. Some of The practices and belief systems started with the " founders" and early leaders of these congregation based on their understanding and convictions on some biblical happenings as earlier said ( like Moses in the Bible interpreted the Tabernacle in a way he could do what he saw using his understanding on available earthly materials and objects and the Tabernacle being santified was acceptable to God.
The succeeding generations however, ( I want to add lazily) followed these personal understanding of the founders "replicating the replicas" without getting their own personal updates from God ( on these belief sytem) like when God told the Israelites to update that they have wandered an area enough and its now time to move on. When the founding fathers pray and God use them with their belief system and faith in God to effortlessly achieve a lot, most new elders leaders and prophets are lazy and not really relating with God appropriately thus their fixations on another person's beleif system with extra physical intensities like punching the devil , sweeping evil, pouring extra and extra perfumes and oils etc. The belief is that intensive physical acts of the prayers will get their prayers answered while some have even replace faith in God with the belief system.
May God help the prophet and the Church but truly, a review of the belief system needs to be made by these churches. Let us all realize that we cannot confine God doing His thing to particular ways , He will always confound us.

It is reported that he was asked to kneel down in the middle of the church with many candles lit all around him while he was also holding one candle.

@naijaonthego disclosed that the prophets then poured perfume on his body from his hair to toe.
His body was said to have caught fire and he was rushed to the hospital at the Gbagada area of Lagos where he Died.
