You got it wrong about Samuel Ajayi Crowder, he was actually educated by the Igbo slaves while at Freetown where they taught him even igbo language. Have you ever wandered how a Yoruba slave in person of Ajayi Crowder can speak and write Igbo. Two of his priests were both igbos with English names.

It also will shock you to find out that the three first higher institutions in the south west: Yaba tech, University of ibadan and University of Lagos were all first headed by the igbos.

Why is cut off mark for students from the east all higher than that of the west? We always hear that Ekiti state has the highest number of professors in Nigeria but the Ekiti website says 4th highest. Imo is highest, followed by Anambra, ondo, Delta, and then Ekiti and kwara.
One time I saw here in nairaland ten top states in waec, all Eastern states and ss were there. The only SW state was Lagos.
Finally, Google punch newspaper: states that produced and graduate more medical doctors, Engineers and lawyers and it will shock you to see that imo, Anambra, and Enugu always come up in the first five states.

I am not trying to say yourubas don't go to school but thinking you are educated more than the igbos is very rediculous.

South West are full of Area Boys and thugs. Presently in Education they are lacking behind to compare South East. Obasanjo put many Yoruba on strategic positions in Oil sectors during his eight years which I'm aware of that
