I ran a quick look at my fellow traders in the contest & i realize so many people use a lot of their margin hence any major move against their position they can't withstand.

I feel we should all pay attention to both fundamentals + technicals so as to know when to enter or exit a trade.

When you lose 3/4 trades consecutively, just leave the market. Else you'll be trapped in a bid to take revenge. Your psychology will be messed up and that only means more losses.

I guess you just starting out..Trading is all encompassing; strategy +risk management + psychology. The three must be in tandem @ all times.

My experience would be built on my mistakes. it's the fifth month and I've not been disqualified yet for going below the stipulated DD... It means say hope dey for me .

I use a systemic style of risk management no emotions attached.

I lose, I move on.

And 3% isn't much, because its just $30. If my mental stop loss is 55 pips then 30÷550 to get my lot size.

but i take profit as the trades progress if you do the maths you'll realize that as you take profit your risk per trade reduces.
