SPEAK THE TRUTH IN LOVE

Eph.4.15 - But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things.........

recently, i watched an interview with some Preachers, and they were asked if the LGTB community is against God's laid down rules and most of these preachers were just standing on the fence. One even said; thats not my area.

We should always endeavour to speak the truth and stand by it. It may hurt, it may not be pleasant to hear, it might not be public opinion, and it may make you unpopular but nevertheless it should be said because only the truth can set free. John 8:32

But the truth should be said in love. For instance, if someone is doing the wrong thing, you correct in love and not in anger because, that could send the wrong message and make the truth ineffective.

So love shouldn't stop us from saying the truth because love won't see it's neighbour perishing without doing something about it.

But is the truth in the instance that you pointed to there. Jesus Christ, the Truth of God, is not against the LGBTQ community - He did not go around attacking groups or weighing their choices against His Word. His Law has nothing against the Laws of men or their groups but instead speaks of what is Law in the Kingdom of God. undecided

This can be seen evidenced in the fact that Jesus Christ never attacked the sinners of His day, and never stood against the government of His day even when He was aware of their oppressive regime. undecided

Jesus Christ preached against lust and this in the lives of those who will believe in Him and seek to be a part of His Kingdom. He did not sent His followers out to impose His rule over all but instead to teach His Law to those who will believe in Him. undecided

Speaking the Truth in love requires that one first Know the Truth and be set free by the Truth .i.e. the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ. undecided

and who told you Jesus never attacked the sinners in his day? Why did he continuously had issues with the Pharisees? Yes he never attacked the Lgbtq at that time because there was no Lgbtq organization then.

1. Where in your Bible are you told that Jesus Christ attacked sinners or unbelievers? undecided

2) Did Jesus Christ tell you that the Pharisees were "sinners" and unbelievers? undecided

3) Jesus Christ never needed to attack the sinners in His time because He never had any reason to. He came for those who knew themselves as sinners, those sick in need of a physician. Those who were blind and needed to see. Which of these groups does your LGBTQ community fall under? undecided

He said "and they were asked if the LGTB community is against God's laid down rules". and Not about the LGBT people!

From His Spirit and by His Countenance we all see that He hates the fact that people sin and He did not permit any sin to be near Him.

Clearly anyone who sins, is a sinner and every one sins. But it is worse for those who are supposed to teach people that they should not sin, are the very same ones who sin and teach others too to sin!

He came to warn all who sin that we are in danger of the Judgement!

Ok!

But, while Christ did not judge (then, for He clearly told us that He shall Come back to Judge Later) He Left us with The Law that we may judge ourselves and consequently judge one another that we may see for ourselves if we obey The Law.

God forbid it's not my community. May be its yours since you are a supporter. Ask you self this question; would Jesus tolerate their practices? Or he would preach repentance to them?

1. Jesus Christ never condemned the "practices" of the sinners of His time, and there were lots of pagans and unbelievers, idol worshippers then yet - not once did He go out to condemn the homonsexuals who lived even during His day. Why is that? undecided

2. Jesus Christ did not come to "tolerate" ... there was no need for that. Instead He came as a physician to those who knew themselves sick. He came to save those who knew themselves sinners. undecided

3. Jesus Christ was clear that sexual sin is instead the lust which one commits in one's heart , an event that predates the sexual act, something many of you conveniently ignore as you continue to set yourselves up against those who you have placed your targets againsta. So i ask you, does harassing those in the LGBTQ community reflect any of what Jesus Christ did or taught His followers to do ?
