I was marriage phobic for many years. But of recent, I have had change of mind after my bosom friend who is now in the States urged me to open up. He is presently in North Carolina, just like me, he kept off marriage after 2 serial heartbreaks. But as fate would have it, he was introduced to a Nigerian American lady and they both clicked.

Since then I have decided to be more open minded to relationships. And it seems foreign ladies have more matured mindsets and are less cheap cos they know what they want. With all sense of sincerity and humility, I have turned down requests as this in the past, though it was from UK and the other from Germany. I turned one down too in 2015 from
Virginia , I said let me try this one, it could be my life partner is abroad...

The thread was opened only a few days ago. It takes time to know people and vet.

My dear you never jam gamophobic folks. Personally, my Christian background and tough upbringing had me locked up to myself. I was kinda stingy with my love and freedom. It's hard to understand if you have never been there.

You seem not to have met independent minded folks. They do exist though you may never be conversant with them. I feared marriage and being locked up in it those days...

That I am even here doesn't mean I am not scared equally. It's simply because I am just tryna go with faith and commit the rest to God's hand
