Hello everyone in the house I greet you all. Please I need an urgent response on my enquiries.

I just finished my HND in Business Administration. Can I apply for direct masters in schools in Germany?

If is possible, please I need some list of schools that can offer admission with free tuition fees, and ielts. Thanks

You will enroll for a full 3 or 4 years degree course before embarking to Msc, but I'll advise you go for international business studies since you already have a background in Bus Admin though most of the schools requires IELTS at least from band 5.0.

Yes bro, I had my 2 years in OND and 2 years in HND both in business administration. Do you mean I can apply directly with my 4 years knowledge in Business administration? Also are there no school I can apply without requesting IELTS? Thanks

Better you check out Daad and get proper infor from school websites. Although you have had a 2yrs each in OND and HND, they still expect you to undergo a solid 3 or 4 yrs course (6 to 8 semester). As for IELTS that one is a no go area as they will insist on applicants presenting but look like some do accept letters from school

If you have a family member abroad (Germany) I would suggest you try the SL.

The Pandemic has affected the financial ecosystem and even with the current dip with the coins.

Truth is, this journey is an expensive one and the value of naira is not helping, if it was 1-1 shebi na just N10k person go drop.

You might need to ask a close family to lend you or take a loan on your behalf else, you would have to re-evaluate your plan. Going elsewhere to hustle then school!?

Hello..I'm new here. By SL do you mean sponsorship letter. I plan on going for my masters. I recently got someone willing to write me a sponsorship letter. I want to know how long it takes for the embassy to call for an interview. I heard it takes a while. And if the admission session begins before the call for an interview, how does one go about not missing exams?
Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by OdogwuEkeke(m): 2:32pm On May 31, 2021
You are most welcome @FrostyButter.

Your 3rd sentence caught my attention, for a sponsorship letter, you cannot just get ANYONE to do a sponsorship letter for you. Such an individual must have family ties with you and also should be gainfully employed and residing in Germany.

Recently, getting an interview takes a while ranging to months for prospective candidates in Category B whereas for Category A candidates get dates within a week to a month.

I am not sure about the new winter semester coming up, but depending on your course. Some courses can do exams online. If your course does not fall under this, unfortunately, you will miss the whole semester exam. At this point, you will have to decide if you want to keep paying the semester fees or consider looking for opportunities in other countries asides from Germany.

Personally, not to discourage those that are just applying, but just stating the obvious. It might even be more difficult for people who just recently gained admission to get interview dates if you fall under Category B because there is a backlog already since late 2019 (Beginning of COVID) if I am not mistaken. Right now, I would advise you to seek a plan B on your academic pursuit.

Na person who gives up on his dream mess up!!!!

1. Answer to your question is on the embassy website. It would give you a well-detailed explanation.

2. Nothing is impossible, it all depends on you. It took me about 5 months to know how to speak basics German. Name, numbers, direction, introducing myself, household items, form a simple sentence, greetings, directions, etc.

You can only apply for bsc with your HND. You can't go for direct Master's.

So sad as a country we have dumb leaders and we the followers also decide to be dumb, this German people refuse to give official statement about the appointment date for category B,and they keep giving out date to category A, a lot of us as taken this to be normal and keep waiting for miracle, for how long are we going to wait?this is half of the year already, nothing has been done, most of us might loose our studentship if care is not taken, the money we spent ,data for online class and time hoping things will get better will just go like that, guys the country keeps dipping, euro keeps going high, my advise let drag this people on social media, sending mail to them is not effective sending mail to any government official is not working, let drag this people and stop been coward. Haba no be tourist visit na school, we no give ourselves admission.nawa o

Das Niveau ist nicht nach Monaten

It's by what each language level entails.

A lot of Youtube videos and Duolingo are sufficient, to be honest.

Attending the A1.1 lecture offered at my school was also a plus. I am still a beginner though, still learning.

Hey Odogwu,

You are quite right on your other statements about getting an interview in the German embassy especially for the category B but I have to correct your paragraph on the sponsorship letter. Sponsors do not need to have family ties with who they are sponsoring, and yes ANYONE can provide a sponsorship letter considering they are legal residents of Germany, employed and meet the minimum threshold of monthly income after tax and other expenses. Usually a single person needs to earn a minimum of €2400 net and the amount goes on for married couples, household with a child, children etc. Many of my colleagues don't have any relationship whatsoever with their sponsors and they are presently studying here in Germany smiley
