Is it true that covering a baby's legs with sand up to the knees will make them learn to walk fast?

This is strange to me. Baby will walk. Be patient. Can he walk around with support? If yes, rest and give it time

Has she started complementary feeding? if yes, Feed her heavy before bed. She'll sleep for longer and hopefully only wake up once

haaaaaa, me have not heard of that before o, my 1year baby is not walking yet and am not worried at all cos mama na cruiser, she can old something and walk perfectly, stand unassisted....I know she will walk when she is already.... So MA please leave your child legs along as long as there is no medical issues, and if u are worried why not see a paed...

1.Bleeding can last till six weeks,so it's still normal but it shouldn't be too heavy.
2.Baby cord falls between 3-21 days so it's still normal if the site isn't bleeding or has pus

All babies are unique. Some dont stop till even close to 2 years. My 6 months old still eats once in the night. But the every two hours is a bit much for me because a regular feeding schedule for a 6 months old is from 3 hours, 3.5 hours to 4 hours depending on the baby. Are you sure its not discomfort as a result of teething and needs normal soothing than feeding? Just check well, mama

Calm down, my nephew walked when he was 16months old. Just keep practicing. If baby has reached other age appropriate milestones, then he or she will walk

Good evening mama’s.my Ds is two weeks old but my mom that came for omugwo said I should not put on air conditioning even tho the doctor at the hospital said I can put it on but to make sure he is well covered and I made sure it is very mild. She has been fighting me since and I finally agreed but today I noticed that he was very warm when I carried him and I decided to open the windows for ventilation and she said I should lock the windows but I refused and she has been acting as if I don’t care about him.must I lock everywhere?is that how it is done?

YOU Need wisdom for this..many myths abound in africa about many things babies inclusive, cos of ignorance and lack of research..
AC is 10x better than fan...ie if you know how to use it and understand.......doubt your mil will ever understand, explain this to your hubby.once he understands.let him carry the explanation to his mom ---it would be much better that way grin grin, na africa we dey

many people put the ac on 16 or 18 dgrees, ie coldest...and turn around to say its too cold or gives them catarrhh. simply put your ac on 24 deg or even 25 deg and you will achieve a cool room, not too cold, not too hot. also the design of most acs is to cool the air inside the room already..it doesnt suck fresh air from outside....so i would advice that you open the windows every 2 or 3 days..for some hours for fresh to enter in abundance.

i hope you are not carrying her about too much?
let her crawl and explore her world..can she sit up unassisted?, does she crawl well?

if yes to above, i suggest you buy her a walker, there are various types now. google f150 baby walker on jumia or konga....
there are cheaper walkers as well, saw one cool type on jiji would hv posted the link, but nairaland deletes them. sellers name is naijahomedepot

Hello Mama's
I stopped breastfeeding two weeks ago but I discovered I haven't seen my period which is suppose to come on 29th of last month,I also noticed I've been urinating often

Are these effect of weaning or could I be pregnant?

I think you should wait a bit for your body to adjust. It took me more than three months to see my period after breastfeeding..

It's true that your body might be adjusting and will normalize after a while. But that frequent urination is very suspicious. My dear, please get a pregnancy strip and check at home. Take it from someone who experienced the same thing and it turned out positive cry. Pregnancy strip is between 100-200 naira. It will set your mind at peace.
