I made a checklist of countries in Europe to study in and I have been dutifully researching on each one - Germany, Poland, Belgium, and Denmark.

But I cannot find an engaging thread about Danish student visa here on this forum. Is there any Nigerian studying there right now? Please give us tips on how to get the visa mirroring your own experiences, realistic cost of living, and availability of student jobs.

Thank you.

Hello,

I live in Sweden, and I have worked in different companies in Denmark. It takes about 15 minutes by train to commute from my city, Malmö, to Copenhagen, Denmark. Denmark is very good, but its population is just about 5 million. I have friends that live in Copenhagen, Denmark who have also studied at their Universities. They all did the IELTS test before applying, but I have no idea about the required IELTS grades. In terms of jobs, Denmark has more jobs than the people that reside in it, but you must work a maximum of 4 hours per day as a student otherwise, you will have a problem with Danish immigration when extending your student visa. Lastly and most importantly, Danish tuition fees are as high as that of Swedish Universities. I think the best option of traveling to Europe for studies is by applying for study programs in Poland. I read in one of your posts where you were trying to get knowledge about the quality of education in Poland when compared to Denmark, Germany, and the other European countries. My answer is that Poland's standard of education is very high, and their Universities are one of the top 300's best Universities in the world, according to QS World University Rankings 2021. Therefore, get your plan "B" activated on time.
