It's 100% doable, don't listen to the African brainwashed cretins who believe the role of a woman is to breed children like dogs without having passion or a unique Profession!
Photography is excellent, depending on what your Photographing.
Real estate firms can pay you 500k per photo session of their property, don't limit yourself to 300 naira photo shoot in end of year children party

Drop that passion and chase some paper sonny !!!

People eat everyday no matter how hard the economy gets, you ought to know the difference between needs and wants to make money in Nigeria.

Passion don't put food on the table in Nigeria unless you want to end up miserable and broke.

Focus on food business and take it digitally, create a brand, market it like your life depends on it.

Pay tithe to me in the next 1 year.

Take a cue from this !!!!/

Big congratulations to you my man as you journey through the food business....you can check out @oretidefoods on Instagram...

She's into food business and making a killing...she just got a highlander worth 5M some weeks back from selling foodstuff....there's bastard money in this country if you sell the right stuff.....bless up sonny !!!

In Nigeria, graduates who are worthy both in character and in learning are roaming all over the streets with no jobs, but hoodlums, illiterates, political thugs, mentally unstable people who were used to cause unrest during the election time are recruited into the police force by politicians. This is what we will continue to get in return.

If you are yet to get a job, you might want to read this.. .....

Cheers !!!

Let me give you a brotherly advice, and I hope you work on it...
First of all I counsel people and I have done that on nairaland for a while... I have met great and good guys...
I dropped a story about my experience teaching in two schools as a corper and would not mind partnering with schools in abuja, but some accused me of looking for teaching job... Never ever mind what people say...
Back to the matter...
As a graduate, teaching and earning 15k, e no bad... But once you have a good (android) phone, go to any car stand of your choice around your area... Listen well, any good car stand and ask to see the manager... Tell him you want to help him market his cars and get good buyers... 90% of car stand managers will sign u on... Tel him you will be paid a small commission after sales...
Pick up your phone, snap as many cars as your phone memory can take, open a dedicated twitter ac, IG ac, Facebook ac, WhatsApp ac, ac etc... Take out time to post this cars, make sure you have the actual prices of this cars... You can add as much as #250k on it... Bring down the negotiations to as low as making #50k if need be just so I can sell. Set your monthly target... I assure you, if you get I client in a month, u make around #100,000k once you start growing, you can get as much as 5-10 client from all over the country and that hits you over #1m for just helping others sell their cars, Note all you invested was your time, energy, phone and data... No big financial capital...
Do not restrict yourself to cars, go for industrial machines as well, caterpillars, mikano gens, any thing, then you look for those big companies that need them and try to call their attention to it or market it to them... You may not sell in 3 months but when you manage to get a client to buy just 1 caterpillars, my brother you will instantly forget that u suffered before...
A friend of mine was marketing a silo for a local wielder, he received a call all the way from kebbi state, the purchase was made in Ilorin, he made #1.8 mil from buyers and #400k from seller... He still got a referral from that deal. Wake up bro...
Within a month or two, come and pay (tite).
I drive uber/bolt in abuja, market cars, sell commodities such as beans, maize, wheat,
ginger, onions, name it... In bags and tonnes
And I make nothing less than half a mil monthly...We all blessed my nigga !

Reach me privately if you are interested in gadget importation and sales from US.

Passion pays, though not overnight. Photography like any good work will put more than food on your table. I know a photographer that has been to different countries of the world simply by embracing his passion. He is a very diligent. He is outstanding. He has covered Kora Awards, Headies, World Cup, etc. He believes in his dreams. Falz the bad guy's sister is among those that graduated from his academy. He enjoys photography. He's blessed by it. Google "SA Acedemy". Kelechi Amadi is also a renowned photographer in this country. This guys have result to show for their passion.
God will guide you.

You can go ahead with the foodstuff shop if you do not reside in any of the Northern of South East states.
Make bandits or UGM no go loot your shop dry.

The thing is, there is a difference between passion and gifting. Passion is an endeavour you will like to pursue while gifting is your inherent ability. You use very little energy to get results in your gifting, so when you actually put in a lot of energy in it, you get great results. So if you are gifted in providing retail services, food stuff business is an option, if you are gifted in creating memories through pictures or videos, then photography it is. If you're not gifted in either of them, find what you are gifted in.

I'll advised you give up that dream of becoming a photographer

This is why husbands pay anomaly when there's a divorce.

You are in a country that the economy isn't stable and things are not working.

You have a family and as a duty you are in partnership with your husband to keep things stable..

Better do something that will be stable for your family first then you and your husband.

Those voices in your head telling photography is the one is trying to cage your mind and state of happiness.

Do the foodstuff business, grow it and open more Warehouse....when you have made sizeable gains and progress you can open a photo studio and run a business.

Don't let those voices in your head deceive you.
Like I always tell people na so devil dy come, after making a suggestion to follow and things starts going down and putting stress on everyone, you start seeing husband as not supportive and caring for your feelings of your dreams... Then one thing leads to another before your know KAAABOOOM

cool Photography is a good work but it requires much time and effort, I would not advise a woman to go deeply into it unless your husband is understanding man that knows what it's takes. You will have to travel, be in the studio almost all the day, etc. I'll just advise you to go for foodstuffs business, you will have enough time for yourself and the family. Good luck

Will that make her live a fulfillment life when her passion is in photography?

Everybody mentioning the he fact that she has a husband and a child therefore she should abandon photography.

Let me ask, if it was her husband asking this same thing, will u remind him that he have a wife and a child?

Why do we limit women to taking care of childrn and husband?

My own is that if u love photography, do it. But I'll advice u set up ur food business first so that that one can help you keep some cash with u.

Follow ur passion. I pray ur husband understands sha

Open your foodstuff business, manage it for a while then get someone to help. You need to manage it yourself first so that you will understand the business then you can set up a mechanism for it to run without you being always there so that you can pursue your photography passion.

Gone are the days when people did only one thing for a living. Multiple streams of income are needed now more than ever. Aside that, doing what you have passion for will make you enjoy life more.

So a balance of money-driven venture and passion-driven venture is the way to go these days. Sometimes, the money-driven venture provides the means for you to pursue your passion.

well said.

You better open up a food shop.

People need to eat food every blessed day.

How many people do you know need the services of a photographer on a daily basis?

Think about that.

Don’t give up on your dreams discuss with your husband and follow your passion. Good things don’t come easy don’t suppress a good thing by thinking of the challenges only. Photography is a profitable business if you are good at it. Very profitable
