Why can't the Bruno stupid allow everybody to comment on his tweet?

Because he knew what would befall him. He knew the sort of backlash he will receive for saying that nonsense won't allow him to sleep again, so he hurriedly blocked the comment section.

It seems the desperate Idi Amin government is using influencers to cover their shame.

Britain ruled us, we fought to gain independence.

Now, some of us said we don't want to be part of Nigeria. It is not a crime. Just the way u hated Britain ruling u, that is how we hate Nigeria ruling us. I want to be given the right to choose if I want to be part of Nigeria or not. This is no crime.

You are very correct on this except for one thing.
Nigeria is not a foreign entity like the British. It is sovereign ground in which you belong. If you no longer want to be a Nigerian you can denounce your citizenship and relocate to wherever you want to go but you cannot take Nigeria sovereign land with you. That can precipitate an act of war in which you can never win ask your forefathers if you don't believe me. Its as simple is that.

Was it USA that said they should relocate to Ghana and dump Nigeria? Shamefully, these great companies still send their products to Nigeria to sell. You'd even be worse than buhari if you had the opportunity of being on the corridor of power. Now I concur on the lazy youths he called your likes.

No, I am igbo, and other entities are forigenrs to me just the way u say Britain foreign entity.

There was nothing like Nigeria before the British came. They created Nigeria by them selves. Nigeria didn't fall from sky. Nigeria is made up of independent nations who were doing their business. Britain forced them together.
I don't want to be that forced marriage by UK. Even UK that formed us didn't force the nations that make up UK. Scotland was given opportunity to decide if she wants to remain with UK or leave the union. That is why whites are better than us.

I was made igbo by nature. I was made Nigerian by Britain.

it was accumulated exodus from the PDP days. It was only worse off during the apc administration. Just yesterday, a couple of uk firms threatened to leave Nigeria unless forex becomes available to them by the govt. Tell me if you need proofs of this or you need a list of companies who left between 2015 and 2020 alone and I'd provide the list. Those who left during the last administrations were a tip of the iceberg. What this administration promised was to woo investors and create enabling environment rather, investors are leaving en masse and the environment isn't secure for investors to operate.

Twitter hold the right to determine what’s best for their community and what’s not.

Twitrer or any other social media cannot determine what's best for a sovereign nation. They are protected by a US law, no Nigerian law protects them whatsoever.

No government in the world likes a media platform it can't control, they have the power to ban and unban just like Nairaland mods but they can't stop a stubborn Monika.

Twitter deleting Buhari's message is a chance this government has been waiting for since endsars protest. It's not about the deleted message, it's about what's brewing which may likely spiral out of control.

Being a new tool for revolution, governments are becoming conscious of two way potency of social media. Therefore, people shouldn't be too surprised if different governments around the world start showing the same symptom.

With the help of social media, millions can start a protest at once without a leader; how do you tackle that?

Governments (all over the world) are afraid, they know what it means for people to agree, they know the potency of propaganda, they have used it, they know how it works.

My only advice to people is to be wary of what they post online in terms of credibility. Propagating unverified claims (for whatever reason) is a symptom of illiteracy; misinforming people to misbehave is a bigger crime than crime itself.

Don't say it, don't post it, don't spread it, if it is not true. It's our world and if it collapses, it collapses for all.

These Edomites (descendants of Esau) are the same people whose ancestors commited genocide on your Bantu/Isrealite ancestors in Spain and Portugal during the Inquisition of 1400s.

Many of ancestors (Bantus/negroes/Isrealites) were forced to convert to Christianity or be slaughtered and buried in shallow graves like the one in Lagos Portugal.

In essence you admit its a wrong decision to mute the voices of 200million people and trample on their fundamental rights because a tweet was deleted?

I've seen several celebrities delete their social media accounts when they feel they have been offended or their rights violated.

In a democracy would it not have been more sensible for the presidency to delete his account and order his ministers to follow suit in protest rather than ban a whole platform from innocent Nigerians

So what next? Ban CNN and BBC when they report news unfavorable to the government? Why doesn't the government register their complaints on the behaviour of Twitter with the US government instead and ask them to intervene

Let's be calming down please. Yes the government has every right to express their displeasure but this could have been better handled.
