honestly @ Justwise you cannot unilaterally banned someone because they called you a criminal or some other insults. That is all shades of wrong. This is a clear case of if man was God

Besides, the guy never called justwise a criminal. The guy said what justwise was suggesting is a criminal offense.
The ralph guy didn’t just stop there, he went on to provide details of what needs to be done. Included links.
Yet he was banned.

Again, I challenge justwise to unban him and bring back all the posts he deleted. Let us all see it here, then we can determine whether the guy insulted justwise.

Saying something is a criminal offense and anyone who commits that is legally a criminal does not amount to insult, does it?

I have absolutely no prob with nobody arguing or debating with me, but don't just come with an insult simply because you feel that i'm cracking down on scammers here unfairly, yes that was his reason for throwing insult at me each time the opportunity presents itself

Show us the insults, bikonuuuu

If we have to wield the big stick every time someone insults us, we all will become tyrants, dictators, authoritarians, autocrats, Buhari, Idi Amin, Hitler, among other names.

Stop banning people for just calling you names. It’s abuse of power and an infringement on their freedom of expression - simple. What you did is not any different from what Buhari did with Twitter. He felt disrespected and banned Twitter, while you also felt disrespected and banned that fellow! Stop it, it’s beneath you and unbecoming of a gatekeeper.

Besides in that case, nobody was actually insulted. What happened was that someone FLELT as though they have been insulted. Unfortunately for the ralph guy, that someone who felt insulted (eventhough not insulted) happened to be someone who hold the Nairaland “power of life and death...”

So just like #TyrantBuhari did with Twitter, the ‘offender’ wAs banned.

Easy.....

Those days using limited company route , clever accounting on the Balance sheet and doing locum instead of permanent.... however IR35 has come to clamp some of that

It was a “tongue in cheek” question. Based on what he said about Asians only declaring what they want and the rest in cash. So how does an Asian doctor do same?

Justwise, you are being untruthful here.
Some of us followed that argument very carefully.
That guy NEVER called you a criminal.
If I recall correctly, and I am sure I recall correctly. The guy said not paying Tv licence is a criminal offense in the uk. Which is very true.

I dare you to unban him, then bring back all his posts that you deleted, and show us exactly where he insulated you.

You only follow my post and not his/yoours(you know who you are)

Read back to see the insults because they are not hidden neither did i delete them. I'm not going to help you on this

Watching TV without license is not a crime.

ok I said it, I am in my house so come and beat me . It good we tell each other the truth so we can check and change. Feedback is good for growth and development

I remember when I was planning to go to the UK as a student. Justwise’s guidance was so so on point that I looked forward to meeting him one day face to face to say thank you.

But that he could just ban someone fir disagreeing with him? That’s a no no.

@Justwise, you felt insulted because someone disagreed with you? On this forum? And it’s nit like the person engaged in unwholesome practices or undermine the objectives of Nairaland?

Bros, you need to be different from the Buhari that we so chastise.

I remember a case in my secondary school were two boys fought. One was suspended and the other wasn't.... the suspended mother came to rake that isn't it a case of fighting and truly it was and the suspended became unsuspended

That is how I see some of Justwise post hence my inital comment to you Justwise .... Why ban when it's a case of two fighting .

Simple reasoning is: do not argue with someone who has power, even if the person is not right.

Justwise, I beg you in the name of God. Stop misinforming the uninformed. It’s not fair.

Watching live T. V in the uk on any gadget whether phone, tablet, TV, laptop without a TV license is a crime.

Granted, there were plans and moves by Govt to decriminalise it (I think sometime in 2020). In that plan, the intention was to make offenders to pay fine, and not face criminal charges. But that was only the Plan.

As things are in the UK today. Watching live Tv without a Tv license is a crime.

Well well.. at this point, let me stop arguing with the all-knowing Justwise before he bans me too like he did with RalphJean.

OK. Bye.

In UK

Watching LIVE tv without license is against the law.

Watching TV (streamables that excludes BBC programs example Netflix, NowTv) is not against the law.

Good afternoon all, I need your input please. I applied and paid for passport renewal for my six years old and a fresh application for a baby since the 6th of this month. The only email I received was the payment acknowledgment.

I haven’t received any other confirming appointment date & time. I’ve also tried to call the number on their website but the call just keeps bouncing back.

What else can I do please ?

Randomly you get a follow up email to come for your biometrics. When that email will come nobody can predict. They are working to clear the backlog since before covid

You don't need to do anything

You try and figure out the word that you are deliberately omitting for reasons best known to you.

The whole debate (if I recall correctly) was about TV licensing.

Watching live TV without license in the UK is a crime.

Maybe you should unban ralph first.
