Some time around February 2020, I was diagnosed with Ulcer/H Pylori with which I had symptoms like burping, diarrhea, indigestion and major anxiety.
I used all the meds and local remedies for ulcer and today, I can say all those symptoms are close to gone.

As the ulcer symptoms were eradicating, other symptoms started to manifest.
Around August I started having these migraines/headaches. Mostly around the areas of my forehead. They troubled me 24/7 and I can't use pain relievers because of my ulcer history. Even when I risked a pain relief medicine, it didn't help at all.

A few months later, my temperature would get so hot that sometimes it affected my hearing.

Around January 2021, I had my first episode of shortness of breath. I thought I was going to die and I cried at the hospital when the doctors were looking at me like an alien. They eventually gave me sodium but it didn't help. What helped was me calming myself thinking to myself it would pass. It did.
A week later, another episode of shortness of breath but this time it was not an episode. It lasted the entire day and ever since, I've been living with shortness of breath.

Baseline, I have headaches, anxiety, shortness of breath and high temperature 24/7. Help Me. I've been living like this for almost a year.

- I've done HIV/AIDS test. Negative.
- Malaria/Typhoid. Treated.
- Xray Scans say my organs are all fine.

I used ulsa-kit for 2 weeks about 7 times but spacing myself about 2 weeks intervals.

At a point, I used Omeprazole, Amoxicillin and Clarithomycin for 2 weeks four times. Spacing myself decently.

I also used Rabeprazole + Ciproflaxin. I used this one the most because it helped me cure my diarrhea and I used Rabeprazole alone for more than 2 weeks. Sometimes, I'd use it alone for 4 weeks straight. A doctor approved of it.

Overall, I'd say I used them a lot in just a year but definitely not overdosed. Besides, the last time I took ulcer medicine was probably in April and I'm still having all symptoms.

I totally agree with Moganaviani about misuse/abuse of drugs.. Now, about the ulcer, I have been managing mine for about 10yrs and I'm doing fine as I can comfortably eat cooked beans as well as other foods made with beans, unlike before.. I can remember 3yrs ago, when I was prescribed some drugs for my ulcer, I did buy those drugs but on second thought I ditched them(partly cos I hate the act of popping pills & having to swallow 'em lol).. I took to drinking water like my life depended on it(in a way, it actually did lol cos ulcer pain is craaazy), I still do that first thing when I wake up & last thing before I go to bed, sometimes when I wake up to pee, I go for a swig too.. I eat fruits & vegetables a whole lot, bananas, watermelon & cucumbers have a cooling effect on your stomach, stay away from fruits containing citric acid, if you must have oranges, pineapples & the sorts, they should be very ripe & sweet.. I love love hot spicy meals like I do not joke with my fresh peppers & then the black cameroon pepper but I had to make a lil sacrifice for the ulcer lol.. I love beans but couldn't have it as eating it or akara or moi moi caused me so much discomfort talk about the flatulence & then diarrhea, taking so many trips to the loo just to let out watery & foamy stools.. I couldn't even eat Eba, my only alternative was Agidi.. I have alot to say but I'll stop here, tbh I do not wish even for my enemy to have ulcer..

Back to the matter, please go and get your blood pressure checked first.. I too have anxiety issues, I'm equally hypertensive so mad headaches/ migraines and I know it's pretty hard for me to keep up with the routine drugs so I try to calm myself most times, sit and let myself get lost just staring at nature even if it's just for a few minutes, then go in for a shower and lay in bed overthinking again yh(I can't really help it) til I fall asleep.. As my mum always say "take things easy, my dear".. Wahala no dey finish true true but do try to take things easy.. I'll also suggest you try another hospital.. My brother has the same condition. Uses the same treatment. Stop judging issues so absolutely. Ulcer doesn't mean the intestinal glands are totally dysfunctional.

I'm tired. I've seen all the doctors in Nigeria and my headaches and shortness of breath have gotten worse but I've come to terms with it. I've done my own share of world suffering. Hopefully, when I die soon, I'll reincarnate in a better country.

am not a dr but have you done an ECG?, perhaps you should see a cardiologist, it might be a problem with your pulse being too fast or slow.

Oh dear, I'm so very sorry about how you feel.. Going by your posts, I see you've been through a whole lot, some things got really messed up.. It's been tough, I know we keep hoping that everything gets better and that someday it will all make sense but buttt we ain't there yet & some can't hold out for too long; many are tired, utterly exhausted..

Honestly, I still think that something is wrong somewhere but if you've practically been in and out of different medical facilities and they can't seem to find out the root cause(s) of these symptoms you're having, then I dunno what to think or say at this point..

Shortness of breath can be scary.

@burntdodo, just pray and prepare. Pain is a killer on it’s own.

Also, please see a psychiatrist to examine you for somatization disorder.

Dear poster, I think these symptoms you listed are symptoms of anxiety disorder.

I had the same symptoms years ago when I was diagnosed with ulcer. I took so many drugs till I got tired of taking and dumped them.

Please, eat lots of fruits and vegetables (except citric fruits like oranges, pineapple, lemon, lime, strawberries). Drink lots of water, start doing exercises, find something to keep you busy, above all, keep praying to God and declaring your healing.

In months, these symptoms will reduce drastically and you would not even remember them again.

It's anxiety that brings all these symptoms, your blood pressure is fine since you said it's 120/70. Relax, and enjoy your life. Always pray and keep yourself busy, that's how I overcame mine.

Also, I think the shortness of breath you mentioned is actually heart palpitations, not shortness of breath. It's one of the symptoms of anxiety.

All of them will disappear once you learn to calm yourself down and manage the symptoms.
