Seniors, let me explain my predicament..... I have already submitted my application, eligibilty passed, now my question...

1.If i convert my existing pof to USD, do i need to inform IRCC even though eligibilty has been passed?

2. Will IRCC not frown at the new dom account since the rule is that the funds should have stayed in the account for six months?

Please inform before u do anything...
The law is that the funds be available in that account from the begining of assessment till the end...I know one who was reject much later after a year because the funds was not up to the required amount at d final assessment, he removed part of the money after he had submitted his application

once eligibility has been passed they cannot as you for updated proof of funds. On arrival in Canada there is like a 5% chance they will ask for the pof, doesn’t have to be the same as what was submitted. Some took cash when travelling.

See the bolded...that's what caused your friend's issues.

As long as someone has the complete amount during the entire application process (and possibly until landing), they are fine to change between one form of POF and another. IRCC can ask for updated POF at any point in the application process. Only a few get asked at landing and it's usually to see the total amount exceeds their minimum for the family size, not to ask why someone changed from mutual funds to cash or something like that.

They can ask for POF at ay time. Especially after eligibility has been passed.

Hello, citizens of japa nation.
I'm anticipating federal ITA soon due to my nomination.
Please advice which is preferable for medicals, IOM or Q life. Also, can I book by simply calling? Anyone with a recent experience please help me out with info such as cost, process and necessary documentation.
Thanks in anticipation.

RPRF can be requested after all processing has been finalized. Doesn’t mean eligibility has not been passed. We all know IRCC doesn’t treat all applications the same way. Better safe than sorry. And its not everyone that will get ADR for POF. If the person has the mind to remove his money, even after his eligibility has been passed, he can take the risk. But prayer and fasting must enter.

For me, Q-life is straigh forward. You can book and pay via their website only according to a customer service officer that was called.

This journey is about to get difficult for most Nigerians. POF requirements and fees for credential evaluations have almost doubled in Naira terms over the last few years. No wonder the pool still has only 22,000 people within 460 to 500, even though they haven't done any draws this year. Its likely a significant proportion of the pool are even non-Nigerians. POF for a family of 1 is now N4.4million because of the shitty exchange rate!!! How are people supposed to save that in this Buhari's economy. Most people will end up borrowing the POF and immediately regret it when the land in Canada and don't get employed immediately.

This is from IRCC website. Some applicants usually don’t pay the RPRF upfront because they believe the request for RPRF means their files have been approved and so wait for PPR. We are all aware that IRCC deviates from their standard procedures every now and then.
You can’t beat your chest over a “fact” that was based on circumstances or the visa officer’s decision.
There’s no right or wrong in this express entry procedure. So as not to lead other applicants astray, its best to put out there all possibilities that can happen during the processing.

POF can not be requested after eligibility passed. True
POF can be requested at any stage of the application. True

Let’s not be debunking info based on our sole finding. And the screenshot from getgcms is also speculation.

I don’t even have the right to argue over this with anyone. Lool.... I no be visa officer, neither are you.

You have time arguing with him...even if it is possible they may not check, it is proper and wise that you advise people to be on the safer side than on the edge....like the one I posted he passed several stages and was still refused after because of the shortage on proof of fund

Good afternoon house, please I need some clarification.

I've done my ielts and my ECA. My score is L8, R8.5, W7, S7. I'm still single but likely get married before the end of the year.

Can I fill my express entry form as being single and later update it if I get married?

What's the possibility of updating if I've been picked for application?

Please it's urgent

I know we like to be vocal and expressive but no one borrows POF for this journey because IRCC disapproves it. Leave it at that.
It might take a long tedious year but those interested in relocating save or have businesses to fund it.
Relocation shouldn’t be anyone’s cup of tea if they can’t afford it - simple.

We can’t draw straws to tell you the possibility. All you need is to use the CRS calculator based on your score and wait to receive an ITA either single or married.
We don’t know your highest degree neither that of your intended spouse nor his/her age.
Again, the CRS calculator has the answer you seek

Express Entry profiles can always be updated......... in fact you can change information in your PR application (eAPR) from what you indicated in the Express Entry profile, just be ready for recalculated CRS scores and/or explanations.

1. If you do not marry before you receive ITA, then you are considered SINGLE. Conversely, If you marry before you receive ITA, then you are considered MARRIED.

2. If you marry after ITA but before AOR (the date you submit your application after you get ITA), you will be required to update your correct status (i.e. married) on your eAPR......your CRS will be recalculated.

3. If you marry before ITA and spouse is unaccompanying, CRS will be calculated as though you had no spouse. You also may be asked to provide a reason why your spouse is unaccompanying....be ready with your answer.

4. If you marry after AOR, then spouse has NO impact on your CRS. Pls read IRCC link below for details on adding spouse AFTER submitting AOR........CRS should NOT be recalculated provided you actually get married after AOR (not that you got married before AOR but told IRCC about it after AOR). See screenshot below.

Regardless of whether spouse is unaccompanying or not you still need to have POF to cover them, do medicals and PCC for them. Read page one and the links there for more details.

Hello, @GraciousWords and other NL family.
I listed 6 job experiences in my express entry profile so that it's in sync with my SINP profile even though one of the jobs covers the maximum 3years required.
The thing now is that I don't intend to get documents for all 6. I read somewhere that I can move some employment to the history section. I intend to move the oldest 3 and provide documents for the most recent 3 jobs along with a letter of explanation.
I need to confirm that it's possible after receiving ITA. I don't wanna go through the stress of travelling outside my state of residence during this period of insecurity.
Any advice?

They mean u won’t get an interview date till 2024. And that’s because agents have hijacked the dates and to get a closer date, you’d have to pay.

For FSW, you only need to provide documents for the jobs/work experience (WE) you are claiming points for. The thinking is that since the max CRS points for foreign work experience is 3 years then you only need to provide evidence to cover jobs of that duration. All others may be moved to personal history.

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/mandate/policies-operational-instructions-agreements/ministerial-instructions/express-entry-application-management-system/current.html

I've often wondered about the issue of eligibility points (67/100) but I don't think we need to prove the eligibility WE only the CRS WE (e.g. if you choose 5 years WE under eligibility factors but 3 yrs is the max under CRS). #PersonalOpinion

What exactly do you mean by professional masters?

Using WES as an example:

https://www.wes.org/advisor-blog/which-credentials-does-wes-evaluate/

"WES is an organization that evaluates academic degrees, which means that the credentials obtained must have been earned on the basis of completing coursework or research."
