I repeat, they could have handled it better than they are doing.

These demands are to save face.

They reacted petulantly and in pettiness too

Emperor Buhari's handlers chief of which include Malami and Lai Mohamed think their low level reasoning is the highest that is so they can keep fooling others not realizing the joke is on them.

Why did Twitter show remorse by DELETING Nnamdi Kanu's hate tweets? cheesy

https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/465867-twitterban-twitter-deletes-nnamdi-kanus-tweets.html

People reported Kanu's posts and they took them down. Same way people people reported Buhari's posts. This is not even the first time they deleted Kanu's tweets.

The poster I was responding to said Twitter was crying about the ban.

Where is the report that Twitter was complaining about the ban?

You're clearly a dunce because you don't even understand what PPP - purchasing power parity; entails and you using it to make stupid claims as the dunce you are. You saw 1.16 trillion and your Illiteracy ejaculated.
PPP is a discounted technique that inflates the GDP of developing countries because it is subject to lower standards of living, lower income; cheaper labour, raw materials, etc. It is like putting the price of 3 bedroom flat in lagos at the same price of three bedroom flat in london. And this why nigeria's ppp looks high to you. Although i'm certain that the acute illiteracy in you will note make you understand.

What Nigeria makes annually is 400+ billion as measured by gdp. Of which 70%+ is from its oil. Not the ppp nonsense you're talking about

If PPP does what it is supposed to do then we cannot say it "inflates" the GDP

That is a misrepresentation
A haircut may cost £20 in the UK and 500 Naira in Lagos

A haircut is a haircut is a haircut

The aim is to correct for distortions in exchange rate etc. It does not always reflect "lower" standards of living. It may be a reflection of monetary policy

Some places e.g Switzerland and Japan have a high cost of living it des not reflect higher or lower standards
Some countries e.g China are accused of currency manipulation and so cost of living is relatively lower in China. In PPP terms China has a much higher GDP

Also the fact that countries like the UK have hollowed out their manufacturing could mean that major parts of China have a much higher standar of living for much less the cost

Nah.

The ipob terrorists hate posts were deleted just a few days ago; many days after he posted them, so it wasn't any sudden reporting. It was after the FG's reaction to PMBs deleted post, in fact just a few hours later. Try harder.

Did you not hear they "reached out" to the FG this morning? Lol.

Just keep your ears to the ground cool

Twitter needs Nigeria 1,000 times more than Nigeria needs Twitter.

And if any of the platforms refuse to comply with Nigerian law, they will be kicked out of the Nigerian market.

Now run along and go sing for your white master, little slaveboy.

The Platform has NOTHING to do with Nigeria, it is Nigerians that have something to do with the Platform, because Millions of Nigerians earn their living from being on twitter Platform.

I suspect that m0r0ns like you dont know the difference between 'Nigeria' and 'Nigerians'.
One is the Country, the latter is the People.
The People (Nigerians) can (and will) access Twitter without Twitter being located or registered in Nigeria and the People will still be here, accessing Twitter, long after the likes of Lying Mohammed, Malu-ami, Buhari and their host of fools, are long dead and buried.

You are correct that it doesn't always reflect lower standards of living. But it does pther times especially in Africa's context (when compared to developed nations)

And PPP is based on a lot of assumptions and prone to manipulation (like you have highlighted) that makes it too subjective to be a measure for comparison.

In essence this guy @rossiminku should stop spreading false claims on what he has no idea about

It's not a matter of having "poor folks" it's a matter of being the poverty capital of the world.. don't you think we all should have a conscience instead of having the mentality that some people are meant to be poor
The duty of government is to put in place policies to alleviate poverty not intensify same.. I maintain that a threat to Twitter should first have been issued instead of jumping to ban them without taking the small Nigerian businesses into consideration.. Twitter would've come for reconciliation and negotiation if a threat had been issued.. do you know how much has been lost by businesses due to the hasty ban?

(Gdp/population) + unproductive populace + greed + unproductive moaning = insufficient funds for any type of socialist policies.

Solution = borrow for infrastructure + diversification (factories).
