Good day brother. I'll highly appreciated to make enquiry the type of document you package for your family & the bank balance for all of them please. Seems we're in same page. But I'm exral careful to submit the doc for them. Please ur quick response will be highly appreciated

For tier two visa, I submitted the following for the kids.

1. Birth certificate (very important)
2. Consent letter (very important)
3. BRP (Very important).
4. The passport data page of my child (Very important).
5. My own passport data page and visa page (Very important).
6. The visa application form.
7. Some pictures of the child (like 10 is enough)
8. Immunization card.
9. My Certificate of Sponsorship (very important).
10. Letter from my employer certifying my maintenance. (my employer is A rated though and maintenance was certified on my CoS, so I did not need to submit this but I just did)
11. My bank statement (I did not need to submit this as well because my sponsor is A rated but just did).
12. Tuberculosis test certificate (Very Important)

For my wife, I submitted what I listed above except immunization card, birth certificate and consent letter. I added marriage certificate, reference letter from the bank showing we operate a joint account and some pictures.

It is advisable to upload proof of relationship as much as you can.

You don't need to go as far as mentioning your plan to move to a bigger apartment in the consent letter. You also do not need to state you currently stay in a shared apartment. Just put the address you are living currently. I am not sure anyone will come and confirm if accomodation status. I applied for visa for my wife and 3 kids last month and they all got it within 9 workings days (standard application) while still staying in a shared apartment. I just started looking for a bigger apartment. I am on a tier 2 visa.

Exactly what I explained

8. Car document
9. Turkish resident permit
10. Student letter(Msc)
11. Tenancy agreement + 2021 rent receipt /transfer receipt
12.Personal Statement

I will like to know if the above documents can get me the visa and i am very open for corrections about the documents to add more and what to remove from the above list

Please seniors I need a good advise.
I am a master student in China, and my wife and son are in Nigeria.
I have my uncle and his family in the UK and they are all citizens.

I want my wife and son to go and stay with them in the UK pending the time I find get admission for my PhD or job.

My uncle was the one that sponsored my back and he is the one acting as a father to me since I got none.

The question is; which visa can I secure for my wife and kid? The truth is that they'll spend at least one year there because I still have one year left for my program.

Feeding and accommodation would be provided by my uncle. I just want to know a legit and lawful way of staying for a longer time.

Please help a brother.
Thanks
For now regardless of how many years they get on their visit visa be it 6months,2 years,5 years or 10 years the maximum amount of time they can stay in the uk legally is 6months unless you are coming for private medical treatment or an eligible academic.

annylove1:
Self/Business introduction letter with my business letter head
letters from a company and their subsidiary that I am a contractor with them
My CAC document and FIRs document
My Work ID as the GM
my shop rent receipt from over the years till now
My house rent receipt, utility and agreement (I also included my old house rent receipt which is nit the same address)
I supply different things including furniture so I printed out invoices and also WhatsApp chats when invoices where not given
I sell hairs so I included the invoices from the vendors and I printed bank transaction receipts which I attached to the invoices
I sell fashion items and I shop for some of them abroad so I included lots of receipts from stores both in the US and the UK
There were some lump sums in my account and I made sure to explain them in my letter.

Just try to be detailed and truthful. When I applied in December 2018, I didn't have a business account and I explained that in my letter, I used the same documents up there and I got it.
Now I have a business account but I still do not run it properly as my customers are still used to my personal account and I made sure to explain that because I do not pay myself a salary.
Lastly I try to reference every transfer I make and I ask my customers to do the same, I feel it helps

Hi.Your documents look okay.
If your wife isn’t travelling you don’t need her data page, marriage certificate would suffice.(unless she lives in uk and you going to visit her).
Your car document isn’t relevant and your personal statement should include your itinerary covering the travel period.
You would need to show proof of Accommodation as well.
Cheers.

Good evening, no we didn’t. Just the invoices for payments (credits) that were above 300k. But no explanation for the debits.

That's correct. Even at that, you have to be mindful about not burning bridges.

Hypothetically speaking: What I mean is, even if you secure a visit visa for your family, it won't be ideal for them to max out the 6 months duration allowed to stay on a trip. Your wife would probably mention that she is in a form of employment or even a student for example and plans to spend a few weeks or a month on the visa application form, anything beyond that could be dicey. Once the visa application is approved and she decides to max out the legal duration she can be allowed to stay, upon visa renewal in the future, this may come back to hunt her. As she would need to explain why she spent 6 months when she claimed to be in employment or a student at the time of filling the initial application form. hence why I said to not burn bridges

pls submit any other thing you need to use to substantiate genuine relationship between u and the kids- pictures help too. Tier 2 visas could get denied when there is lack of this. I have seen 2. They said the parents are not the ‘parents’

Good afternoon everyone...I want to ask anyone that either recently travelled to England or knows someone that recently did....how did you submit the used kits for the Day 2/8 covid19 tests? I asked because new arrivals are meant to be in quarantine...I understand the used test kits are to be submitted to either post offices or authorized courier agents of the test companies... Thanks in advance

You didn't factor your return ticket estimate as suggested by Tutu82. Flight ticket fares are a function of the airline and travel period. Since you are likely to travel during summer, ticket fares will range from GBP 500 to 1,000 depending on airline...

Is there any rule that state that you can't spend more than 2 months of your disposable income for your travelling expenses and whats the maximum disposable income someone can spend for a trip

i have seen a 3 times disposable before... however this was after his 2nd abi 3rd visa. There is no one size fits all.
I noticed if they want to close their eye to it they will but if they need to deny based on this, they will greatly wield this out.
Logically in these times where one is somewhat compelled to have an initial 10 day period for quarantine, this greatly increases d travel duration and worse still increases travel expenses. I believe they are aware of this bcus for some months now in the refusals i hve seen, i hve not seen very many mentions of ‘spending more than 2 times disposable income’

Thank you so much. I'm thinking of increasing my expenses to 1050£. Hope it will be reasonable enough or should I stick to £990 ?

It’s best not to guess a budget but work according to your actual pocket.
Let me nudge you and you do the maths;
How much is your ticket?
How much is your hotel booking?
How much is your feeding & logistics?
Add it together and subtract from £990.
That’s your answer.
