Governors call on FG to devolve more powers to the state but the states stifle the LGs from efficiently functioning

He who goes to equity must go with clean hands

Except for the fulani herders, bandits, bokoharam and lopsidedness in federal appointments, the state government are more of the problems than the FG

We must say it as it is and learn to call out first our local and state elected and selected leaders as precursor to calling out the FG

Buhari signed an executive order for the local govt to receive their allocations directly. If the governors had agreed, that would have been a major masterstroke. That's one major thing Buhari did that Goodluck didn't have the liver for.

You guys should move pass Goodluck, he could only organise a conference party for too much talk but could not muster enough courage to dare. If PMB had insisted on the Governors, we would all label him a tyrant.

it also shows how depraved our education system is, most of the things I know about the federal system of govt, I learnt in secondary school in social studies and Government subjects, I just wonder if Government is still taught in secondary schools today with the ignorance you see in nairaland. Also, the president is tied with vested interests because if he decides to start arresting and prosecuting ex governors for stealing or misappropriating LG funds, he will be weakening his party power and ability to win elections in that state.
