E good like that. The retired generals will have their senses back and see the damage the government has used them to cause for the people they swore to protect.

Hopefully, they will plan some internal games against the system.

One thing Buratai succeeded in his regime was making sure that buhari trust nobody outside him. Buratai made buhari to believe that he was the only one who has a better grip on the armies against any eventualities. This buhari understood absolutely.
So, since buratai left, buhari became very very comfortable.

In the light of that, president buhari was looking at how to disengage these courses 36 & 37 officers.
This fit he tactically fulfilled by appointing an inferior officer, knowing fully well that by tradition the superior officers will be eased.

Some people think that buhari is a fool....you have to think again!

And they lied saying nobody was going to be sacked to make way for the new Chief of Staff.

If you're still supporting this government you are simply deceiving yourself.

I would have bothered if they have made any meaningful contribution to the security and stability of this nation....

What is the essence of having Generals and service chiefs that can't protect the people?

Nigerians are bring killed like fowls across board from Benue to Oyo state ..what has these so called Generals and service chiefs done to improve our security architecture?

Bandits and Fulani herdsmen everywhere

Unprofessionalism and corruption in all the branches of our security forces..

Killing, harassment and maiming of innocent Nigerians.....

So they all including the ones that will remain in service can all go to HELL and stay there

Why will a sitting President, a retired soldier skip senior officers only to appoint their junior as Chief of Army Staff?

Our President is indeed our problem. angry and now he wants to retire them forcefully? How do he wants them to feel?

Even with their experiences and years of service, they are treated this way?

No one is safe in this country.

When asked why the military was taking the action, the general added, “The military now has a tradition whereby when a new chief of any of the branches is appointed, all those who senior him, including those who are in other arms of the military, are eased. This was how members of the Regular Course 35 were all eased out in February.”

Agree with me or not, this is unfair and underserved retirement for this men. No matter what political views you subscribe to, if you’re being fair and reasonable, you’d see Nigeria is facing a terrible security crisis that requires all hands on deck. You cannot be retiring Generals at this point in time, and you know why these men are going on retirement. A very flimsy and petty reason. You know who’s behind this.

What would it have caused the President to appoint a competent Chief of Army staff from the regular course 36? Ask yourself again. And then you argue that it is to his discretion. But when a person’s choice, when their discretion is causing so much vile and resentment, and public outcry, does it not show something is inherently wrong with the person and inadvertently their ability to make choices?
Currently, I’m yet to see people who trusts the President’s good judgement. If you do, notify me, let me tell you where you belong.

He made a claim on AriseTv, that he only appoints people who he knows. But is the seat of Governance a family reunion? You don’t have to know these individuals. There’s a public service commission. There are individuals responsible for suggesting appointments to you. Appointments generally should be for the betterment of the people. Not to satisfy your familiarity or ethnocentric tendencies.

Do you know by implication, he’s saying all those men do not level up to the substance of the newly appointed vaunted Farouk Yahaya? That’s an insult to men who are older than him in the force, who worked and served their asses off to a country that does not rate them. Nigeria is sending them off to compulsory retirement simply because of what? The Nigerian “Presidency” by is playing with matter of great national security. These appointments are bedevilling.

Stop wailing uncontrollably, this is the norm since 1999.once a service chief is appointed, it leads to mass retirement

E shock you grin quick one. If you get to find out how much this people maintenance every year be my brother you go gree with me say our political elite nai be our collective problem for naija I swear.

The divide in Nigeria is their doing. Nah them day deliberately cause am. This people are to good at their game that the average Nigeria will never see it coming until it is there.

Most don't know why most countries don't want us anymore. They are now aware of the real potential of a determined Nigerian.
Nigeria can bring down any civilization they put their hearts to I swear. The game of politics that the white people thought them is now being applied even better than the whites who taught them.

Most only know of divide and conquer method that the government uses, but know of the ones like action= reaction= solution or even propose and provide rule. Unity is their biggest fear once the masses can become united they will be obsolete in no time. Which is their biggest fear not being relevant to they can continue to be in power to control resources to their benefits
