I have legally registered associates in Canada who can grant me work permits due to ongoing projects but the issue is that Canada is on lockdown and I am tired of being here.

About Caribbean locations, can you please specify an example of where? I no not care about spousal arrangement to get citizenship as long as I leave this hellhole called Nigeria.
This will be over soon and totally worth the wait, get a hobby, learn a new trade, whatever it takes to distract you from the wait for now. It is not easy to relocate to a new country and up and leave when you start finding your way around cause Canada which is likely a better country finally opens up. As someone who has been through same process of a long wait to relocate, i understand that feeling, the wait feels like forever. What’s worth doing is worth doing well. Just find a group for this purpose or a friend with your best interest at heart to give you ginger when necessary if you must.

Honestly you have helped me answer him/her.. alot of people do not understand the pain living in Nigeria and its insecurity..

Most of the basic problem like power and so on, I have solved them on my own with inverters and such but the depression still comes living in Nigeria. Nigeria is a failed local government that I cannot continue to cope with.
Many Nigerians don’t understand a better standard of living because the Nigerian way is the only way they know unfortunately. I have scars from the Nigerian way and I don’t think I want to permanently go back to that kind of living or in good conscience advice any one to continue that way.

Thank you. Feeling encouraged. The process is more difficult now since covid, and also as everyone is trying to run away.

The question is, which remote work Visa exactly? I sure know of countries that offer it like Germany, Estonia etc but never really met anyone who actually got it.

It's a simple thing, It's either you're just a fvcking agent trying to trick the OP of his money or an ordinary liar at best.

You are free to come to whatever conclusion you like. I do not freaking care.
It is a good thing I just deleted your message request. I don't have time for nincompoops.

Lol you dey mind those clowns trying to impress gullible Nlanders. The violence in those South American countries make Nigeria look like a kindergarten playground. There are millions of them illegally in the US standing on the street corner looking for daily labourer work.

Who ever makes 20 million legitimately will not be depressed by the distractions of Nigeria. Unless those who sit online and see the glories of London, USA and China online and feel they deserve to be out there.

Besides, to make 20m legitimately, you have business partners, outlets and products or services you will not want to let go of.

Based on these facts, you are better off at any country, cos all you need is a laptop and a few 'softwares' to "make your beats", right?

Try Ghana, in case you have need to run back here

guy let me tell you the truth, it is only in Nigeria you would make that kind of money. No country in the world would give you that money but you would enjoy infrastructure and orderliness. If they see you making that money as a black man they would come after you

So, you mean to say there are no black folks earning more than $50K in top companies in the west? Let's omit citizens and look strictly at Nigerians, are you implying it's impossible to earn that amount or more as an emigrant who finished grad studies from a top university? Someone did his PhD in Computer Science at Stanford and works at Google can't earn such and when s/he does, the police comes after the person?

What sort of reasoning is that?

Nonsense question.

You get 20mil you want to relocate,What makes you think you can make 20milion naira even if you go to Canada and stay there for 5 years.

Having 20 million naira with you is a sign that you are destiny to make it in Nigeria than any other country unless you make the 20 million naira though fast line.

You better use the same brain wey you use make the 20 million in Nigeria well o

Don't mind the op.

This sounds like a very common 419format that they call *come and marry*.

Very soon, this his 20million naira would be trapped somewhere and the victim would need to use her own money to clear the funds to where it's meant to be. grin

20m can give you a good house and a good car in naija. 20m is big money in naija. 50dollars is a annual starter salary and remember he would pay bills and taxes as well. Ask yourself why are many Nigerians into fraud to measure up in USA? Also the amount of time and work he would put in to have 50 thousand dollars as cash in the bank after all expenses cannot be compared making 20 m tax free in naija.

@Dadaboy.
20 mi is a huge money but Nigeria offers more opportunity for one to become broke.

Since you are an outsider, Canada will not grant you a work permit and it also comes with a lot of paper work. You can only have work permit outside Canada if a firm is willing to sponsore and employ you. There are other easier root for you to legally migrate to Canada once you have an undertaker. Canada or Australia will offer smart guys a chance of achievement.

Ignore every other country.

Canada or Australia is the best bet.

My friend if you don't want to live in Nigeria anymore and you want to multiply the 20 mil you have, pls choose an African country. There is money in Africa. I have lived in Swaziland and South Africa. I have visited Mozambique, Tanzania and Malawi atleast twice every month when I live in that region called SADC and now I live in the US. There is milk and honey in Africa with such amount of money. Trust me bro. Look into Zambia and Rwanda. My brother you said you are into entertainment. I no get any idea on entertainment. Na comedy? Abi you dey sing?
My brother that money can open three shops in Rwanda and the government will issue you work permit. With the work permit, you can get China visa to be importing your goods to Rwanda. You go turn to big guy withing few years.

Good day Nairalanders..

I am in dire need of support from people who have travel experience.
When I say travel experience, I mean people who has relocated from Nigeria completely.

I will be 30 next month, single (have always hated the idea of marrying any lady in Nigeria because I have been unlucky with most of them i met as they seem complicated, inconsequential, dishonest and inexposed).

To make this short, I spent a lot of my youth working so hard to save enough money with the mindset to relocate from Nigeria as Nigeria depresses me alot.

I have been able to save nearly 20 million naira, excluding investments running in millions i wish to put on cargo to ship wherever I wish to relocate to.

Now, my problem is finding a suitable location or environment where i can relocate to without stress and problems.

Note that, I do not intend to work for anyone as I have my own skills.

United States, United Kingdom are out of my plans as I have realised their system are not built to favour me or my type of person and seem more like stress and a slavery environment to me.

I applied for Canada visa with hope to get work permit but has been on hold for months as they have been on lockdown since.

Having lived in South Africa before for a short while and felt like home there, I had it as an option but I am at crossroads, if I can have better suggestions from experienced people here.

Also, if anywhere in Europe is advisable (remember I do not wish to work for anyone except part time, in my field or if must require me to get a work visa)

Please I need advice.

Canada is still your best bet. Better to come in as a permanent resident, use the Express Entry program instead of just a work permit. If the work permit works out on time though, you can take it. When you have lived in Canada for 3years, you can apply for your citizenship. Having a 2nd passport matters a lot for now, don't just relocate for the sake of leaving Nigeria without a plan for a 2nd passport.

Namibia: Sparsely populated, good for introverts and freelancers. You will learn to speak Afrikaans, a good number of the citizens speak English.

South Africa: Good for you as an entertainer, there is a huge Nigerian community, has a booming entertainment industry.

Rwanda: If you want to do business, not so great for a foreigner in the entertainment industry.

Senegal/Cote d'Ivoire: Are you ready to learn French? If yes, then you are good to go.

I can bet you've not done any business in Nigeria for you to say this

AkalaJ:
If you could hustle to gather together that much money in Nigeria, why not hustle even more to keep multiplying it in the same Nigeria? Every other country will present its own set of challenges in terms of starting from scratch, fitting into a new society, getting your 'papers/stay', etc. Just saying. undecided

I am actually an entrepreneur in this same Nigeria, and I am not doing badly. I also schooled in America and lived there for up to 10yrs, so my opinion is based on experience. But it's Ok for some not to agree with my position.

So this is what you can do

Even though you do not want to consider the UK or US as destinations, you may be missing out on a lot opportunities, because these have opportunities for growth and are liberal societies, u can make your money or even get investors easily in these places than anywhere else...

My thots

1) Register your company in the US and work to get an O1 visa, I know a couple of people who can support you on this

2) Apply for the global talent UK visa which allows you to stay for 3 years to work or establish a.business

your skillsets seem to qualify for both visas

3) work in parallel to get the Canadian express entry, this could take a while to get all your documents complete

The 1st 2 options allow you to live in the UK or US and also run your business from there with a 3/5 year residency option , which you can convert to PR and ultimately a citizenship.
You can have either or both visas by Dec 2021 if you get it right...
I promise you that you will do your self a.lot of good with these pending when Canada opens up. Recall that Canada is not as dynamic as these 2 countries...

You also have the option of registering your company in Dubai, but no citizenship even after 20 years...

In all , you can still run the business in Nigeria, while trying to settle abroad.

For those asking him to stay back in Nigeria ,see the attachment,
20m was about 100k usd in 2015, now is just about 40k usd, so that big money has lost 60% value in 6 years , in a few years, it will be 10k

Not every body in the abroad is struggling or washing toilet, a whole lot are cleaning out legally with loads of integrity .
My 2 cents

I have been here since 2009. Go figure.

But it seemed like a 419 format shaaa.
And the other part you added *u have investments to put in ship to cargo*

That's the part that would make you give your client(wife-to-be) a tracking number.

Then the cargo gets stranded somewhere and she has to pay for the clearing.
