Men of the Nigeria Police Force on Saturday morning thwarted a June 12 protest in the Gudu area of the Federal Capital Territory when they stormed the area and started firing teargas canisters, The PUNCH reports.

The protest began around 08:30 am and was going on smoothly with the protesters, mostly youths, expressing their dissatisfaction with the state of the nation.

The protesters, who chanted “Buhari must go”, “Say no to injustice”, amongst other solidarity phrases, took to their heels and scampered for safety when the security operatives started shooting.

The PUNCH correspondent, who was covering the protest and streaming it on Facebook Live, also ran for cover as the security operatives bombarded the demonstration ground.

cheesy

I can never waste my precious time protesting,I'd rather focus more on my hustle so that no matter what happens in this country I'll survive it.

In Nigeria everyone is a hypocrite, give someone like Deji Adeyanju or Aisha yesufu power and watch them turn into something else.

No matter the amount of "buhari must go" chants the protesters make, you and I know that buhari will never leave.

Nigerians only understand and acknowledge injustice when they finally receive the bad treatment others have been complaining about.

80% of people agitating for protests today will be in their house eating rice or drinking garri as the case may be. Internet warriors, the lot of them.

In 2015, some people gave their all in support of this administration but they are in severe pain and regrets today. You see, 70% of eligible voters in Nigeria are myopic and foolish and that is more than enough to win any election. In summary, 9ja politics is not worth dying for and trust any 9ja politician who is not related to you by blood at your own peril.

It is until you work like an elephant, and eat like an insect...
Or when you can't leave Nigeria or raise kids here...
Double your hustle and also contribute so the government owes you good governance. What is hustle with everyday fuel for generator or midnight attacks?

Remember the guy that sued the government over a small porthole?
