Paradise Estate Abuja, Leaving Behind Tales Of Anguish To Subscribers In Abuja by Msadesina: 5:07pm On Jun 13, 2021
A friend bought a property from Paradise estate abuja 3years ago and paid outrightly.

They're the sister company of lekki gardens and was being ran by Blessing, Richard Nyong's sister. Richard is the CEO of lekki gardens, paradise has become quite popular in Abuja but they're a fraud. A company that doesn't keep to their words or honour agreements.

They bought into their IDU SABO project and the agreement was for 12months and 15months in cases of force majeure

They were assured of delivery in 2020 July 31 but they failed, approached again, they wrote again to give till December unfailingly, they failed. Paradise estate wrote in Dec again assuring delivery in Feb 2021, they failed again, then they have sent another letter promising Aug 2021 they will fail again without a doubt! The site has been in the same state as it was in Feb 2021. What's worse is the Mr Romeo (one of their top representative) who use to be the face of paradise in giving word has now resigned.

Paradise estate under the leadership of Richard Nyong is all PR, collect your money and leaving trails of disappointments in Abuja.

Attached is the current state of the said estate and i hope other subscribers will come out to seek accountability because they claimed the estate is sold out

You are shocked or disappointed? 90% of these so called estates are like that. They say they will deliver in months but 4 years after na story.
Guy, you will have to be patient or build it by yourself and collect refund and be the only one living in an uncompleted estate.
Its another get rich quick scheme these estate guys are into.

Never again will I invest in any stupid company in Nigeria. Even if angel Gabriel endorses it I won't. Once they see money they all japa. I learnt the very hard way. Even if I see the return of investment flowing like water I won't. All of them are thieves. All. Better to use your money yourself ,build yourself and if you can't use the money to eat catfish and peppersoup. Last last na spend you go still spend am. If na country wey dey work them never catch all of them? They are all heart breakers.Sorry bros. Chop breakfast. Na all of us go chop this breakfast. Gbogbo wa la ma je breakfast for investment companies.

Nigerians need basic legal education.
Why would anyone accept ordinary promise in business transactions?
Wasn't there any form of legal agreement between the parties?

Rather than waste time on articles, they should drag the developer to court for breach of contract.

This scam if true will continue as long as the victims refuse to take action but to beg government for intervention
and grant pointless interviews.

Interesting...
The subscribers should make a legal request or find out how to recover their monies and opt out of the disappointment of a housing scheme!
That's why it's better to use a bank agreement for such purposes.
If there was a bank induced agreement their funds will be accessible or withdrawable.

Defamation?

Is it run by Blessing or Richard?

Would be wiser to leave unconcerned parties out of this.

This is actually a regular occurrence in the world of estate developers and property sales in Nigeria.
I myself fell victim to one called T.pumpy estates in Abuja.

The problem is this,70-80% of these estate developers and land sellers when advertising land/property for sale don't actually have the land physically available.
They do big promos with flyers and 3d photos of estate buildings with cars parked in the front etc to entice buyers.

What they then do is to collect money from numerous prospective buyers. It's when they've collected enough money that they then go and buy the land behind the scene from the real owners. With the hope of then doing allocation of plots.

This is also when the problem starts. And the problems are numerous. Often they would oversell available plots. Meaning if the land actually available can accommodate only 100 plots of land they will regularly sell over 100 plots on paper to people.E.g 120 plots sales.

This means on almost every estate in Nigeria especially Abuja you'll find people missing out even after full payment. But because there's other people that got land/property then the developers can claim to be legit.

Other times when people put enough pressure on the developers what they do is to start cutting out of the plots size they sold to people to give others. Say for example they advertise plots of 500sqm after payment and plot allocation when you get there you mind discover you only got 400sqm. By the time they have done this to just 4 people they would have got an extra 400sqm to sell which can be anything from 1million naira or much higher in a place like Abuja.

Some times they even do the plot reduction for no other reason but greed to squeeze in more people and make more money. Other times they do it because they never had they full size available in the first place.

Corruption and deceit is common in Nigeria property deals and almost all developers are into it. My advice to prospective buyers is to NEVER NEVER EVER buy property "off plan" in Nigeria. By that I mean where the developers show you an area where they are developing and selling. If you can not first see the physical plot on ground DO NOT part with your money.

Most of those real estate companies are like that.

Especially the ones mounting all those useless billboards at Ibeju Lekki axis... They'll give it one Fine name and beckon on one celebrity to do ad for them so as to lure people.

Most are scammers
