Ok thanks so much. Pls would you mind recommending any coding language for a beginner. Thanks in anticipation
AmuEwu:

That's all you need, actually. In tech nobody cares for your degree or background. Its only a case of can you do it, have you done it before, and do you have samples of previous work (portfolio)

So yeah, you can learn coding without a computer science background.

I can’t verify my upwork, I use an iOS device and the app requires linking my LinkedIn. Fiverr rejected my login detail because I can’t access my old email for verification.
What’s the way forward abeg.
I never had this problem so I wouldn't have a solution to it, but how about trying out a new email

Don't give up on your programming career/journey.
If you feel tired and burnt out, rest, but do not quit.
I pray the gig market favors you.

Amen!

The aspect of coding you want to dabble into will determine the language(s) you'd learn.

I have no experience with udemy, but if you really want to start ASAP, the best courses are probably anything related to content writing.

Another thing, whatever niche you're trying to get into, you need to have background knowledge on SEO. I specifically work on B2B SEO so I can recommend this guide to you, but SEO is generally a really wide spectrum and the internet is a breeding ground of tons of helpful information, you just need to weed the BS ones out.

These are things that I learned in 3 months and mastered in 10 years. If I did it without enrolling in a course, you can probably do it with the resources you have. Good luck!
thanks boss. I started yesterday with digital marketing. I will look into SEO and writing once I'm through

Learn high paying skills. Skills like
- Copywriting
- Content writing
- Data science and analytics
- Web development and design
- UX writing
- Virtual assistant
- Email marketing
- Social Media management
- Coding
- Graphic design

Become a badass in one or two of these skills, then start offering them as services to clients on Upwork. There's mad money in these skills.

For example, I do content writing in the tech and games niche and I've made a pretty good amount since I started.

Also, some of these skills especially writing do not need a laptop. By just using your smartphones, you can actually earn hundreds of dollars every month.

Hi, I'm new to content writing, i need good sites that will help new content writers grow in the career and where they can be paid even if its not much for a start. Thanks

I'm also a mathematics graduate. I did a 6 months data science internship last year so I can tell you that the data science/analytics field is very wide. To be able to offer the skills online, you need to be very good in it and that would take you a significant amount of time.

If you are serious, then chat me up on WhatsApp so that I will direct you on how to get free Datacamp subscription for two months so that you can get started with learning. Just my little way of helping smiley
Thanks bro..I just messaged you

Skill acquisition is very important. Just like many people have suggested, you may learn copywriting, article writing, blog content writing etc. When you have attained proficiency in learning, you can begin to earn by joining a credible writing agency in Nigeria or you establish your own. Here is a writing service company that pays well in Nigeria. That is if you are very good at what you do.

Please does the client provide the e-mails to send messages to , or I'm responsible for that?

I'm still trying to understand the whole e-mail stuff..

The freelancer is responsible for drafting out
emails (promotional based messages) that would engage and compel people to take action.

I can't teach you that. That's what you will learn from courses on email marketing.
