Make of it what you can. As of march last year I was still asking help from nairalanders on flexbox . Sometimes I am shocked of what I even do. Me that used to just write plain HTML and just hate doing CSS and struggle so much with basic JavaScript things. Anyone can code, you just need to be consistent.

I launched a landing page this week for a crypto startup that just raised 10 million dollars in funding. I am presently doing a very huge e commerce jamstack configuration for a business that does around 50 million USD in annual revenue. The job was gotten from one of the biggest known guys in the space. If I post links of what I have done, my people at work can find me.

I am not and I can say I am fairly okay. Saying people must be passionate about programming to me is hogwash. Are petroleum engineeers passionate about crude oil? I am new to Shopify but the pattern/Architecture is not new, if you run a Sass application it means, you just have to allow people have control over the template while you supply the data (API) for them. Unlike WordPress where you have to be familiar with the API and write the code yourself and handle things.

Just start with the basic and master that first

Hello good people.

Thanks for your kind words and encouragements. I made this topic based on the near frustrations I was and is currently suffering as regards to learning programming. We all know how difficult it feels at the beginning of any task. Only the fun on the course of the adventure can be able to defeat this.
Coupled with the fact that the laptop I am using to learn programming and other related stuff has gone into a bad condition. It can no longer close as a result of a crack by its handle/side and also the keyboard is no longer effective as some buttons are no longer functional, although I got an external keyboard which is only manageable but outdated. This issue has been there for sometime and this has made me relegate the laptop to a fixed position so as not to cause further damages.
Computers have always been my thing and would be glad if I could go back to my learning ways.
I hereby call on any laptop serviceman in Enugu environs to help and fix my laptop (the crack and keyboard issue) at a very subsidized rate as I am not buoyant at the moment.
Attached is the laptop with the crack.
I hope to come back stronger and more determined.

It's only in Nigeria we think about Retirement in Programming as one reaches an elderly age, my colleagues in my company in the US, are in their 50(s) and 60(s) handling complex part.

Lol...no...I can't take on php or any php framework while still struggling with basics. I will rather start with a language that is easy to pick first like python.
