What is stopping them or Phrankleen from returning to Nigeria is beyond me. Other than employment, he never mentions a high quality of life, law/order, visa free travel with a Canadian passport, etc. Does Phtankleen have a point, or he's an enemy of progress ?

He is stating raw fact! People don't want to hear this, not everyone that leaves Nigeria to Canada or UK makes it or do better than their mates back in Nigeria.

You have to dismiss most of what's on YT. There's a lot of agendas at work, especially when it comes to opportunity and quality of life for black people. Whites and other losers want to convince people of all kinds of nonsense to stop your hustle. Some just want to feed their sad, deranged ego.

There's also a lot traffickers and other exploitative entities that want to sell a lie.

Another group are people who are bizarrely jealous and have no shame. They'll babble all day and not a bit of it is valid.

Well if his father listened to his advice, he wouldn't have been born in France, while holding UK citizenship. He is bias and not balanced. Not everyone will succeed. We get it. If these same people were successful in Naija, they never would have left. But for some reason they get impatience when they're in Canada. The issue is, he never looks at the totality of everything. It's not always about money. He's not rich in the UK, so why isn't he back in Naija ? He's still in the UK because he's looking at the totality of everything for himself and children. He's a hypocrite !

[b]I dont usually comment on this kind of issues , but @Maternal asked some valid questions and made some submissions that makes sense. With regards to migration abroad, not every one will secure a job at the same time of arrival, not everyone that left Nigeria did so because of jobs abroad, so many had different reasons to migrate and to say the fact, Canada migration for example is not for the low class earners as the migration process involves lots of financial committment which execpt you earn a little bit well in Nigeria may not be able to process the immigration itself.

Again, i want to add here again, who and what are the skill set that is facing unemployment in Canada, what skills are we bringing to Canada. we always think that working as fund transfer managers, or marketers or cash and tellers in the bank in Nigeria is am execeptional skill set being sort after in Canada, in Nigeria is it a high revered job. The IT guys that are coming to Canada do not have that story,they start from where they stopped in Nigeria. However, what plans do you have to delve into something the system you migrated into wants? if you are ready to retrain in a better skill set the system need why wont you find job after all a lot of the bankers we know came to Canada and retrained in Business Analysis, project management, Business Intelligence,Data Analytics while some went into the health sector and are gainfully employed better than what they have in Nigeria added with a good worjing free health care delivery, free education for kids , steady electricity,water, good roads,security and all that which even with their assumed high paying jobs in Nigeria they cant even think of..not to mention child support per month they recieve from government...who will worry again if all this things are taken care for you...is it am story in Nigeria? well your guess is as good as mine...

Patience and being real to understand that at times some situations warrants a change of skills reset to fit in to the new country, and a lot have good success stories. So migration is a mater of choice,priorities and preference. A lot with sacrifice low paying job with all the things i mentioned being provided than a high paying job in a Nigeria where you need army and police escort to travel the roads of Nigeria to your village, where you virtually curse your way in to get something that is supposed to be provided, where you pay extra to have your kids in a semi good schools without hppe of them having a job when they graduate...we dont want to start comparison here. But like Maternal said, the op of this thread should have left the UK back to Nigeria .
