Is it Nigerian journalist or politicians or ...who that gives names such as hoodlums, bandits, unknown gun men, militants, cultists, terrorist, Fulani herdsmen etc....

Those who perpetuated this act are criminals - armed robbers.

U will not see useless Nigeria Police force stationed there (due to the frequency of the crimes). It is to look for a lungu where they can mount road block and be extorting motorists
Trust me, SERVING AND DISMISSED POLICE AND ARMY OFFICERS ARE MAJORLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL THOSE CRIMES.

THEY ARE THE MAIN ARMED ROBBERS.

These are the criminal elements Buhari need to teach the language they can understand ... But he will not because they are Tinubu and APC foot soldiers.

Nigeria is the best place to make money bla bla bla, you hear some mumù people say these things to discourage those who seek for advice to jp, advising them to invest in a dead economy.

Make money and become a victim of all crimes, when people around you are not smiling they will come for you and eat you.

Poor Indian man, they will find a way to send his corpse back home

I was at that scene that Tuesday evening. We all left our vehicles and started running back towards Lagos. That doubled the traffic on that bridge that night. I never knew they killed someone that night. May his soul rest in peace, amen.

I think Government needs to comeup with something new to curtail these consistent traffic robberies.

Maybe they should start to deploy police to anywhere there's traffic cuz it's getting out of hand...

Lagos politicians are the one giving them upper hand, they use them to rig elections and use them to do their shenanigans during election campaigns.

Until Lagos start killing them immediately once they have been arrested, they won't stop rubbing innocent citizens on the highway...
Warewa is in Ogun State.

This country is ripe for a purge.

Kill 5 million violent criminals and we'll still have over 200 million Nigerians left.

They won't be missed.

I was going to Epe last week Tuesday and on Eko bridge, the bus broke down. As the driver was trying to fix the problem as well as give money to those who were not patient enough, two scruffy looking boys came out from nowhere and began to speak in Yoruba.

The fear, the apprehension on my face was so obvious that myself and another female passenger had to beg for lift, if anything to get out of that place ASAP for fear of being robbed even in broad daylight. Normally, for safety reasons, I do not get into cars but this one was borne out of necessity.

Thank God I got to CMS in one piece. To that lady who gave us that lift, thank you so much.

This happens frequently in Lagos too, many locations in Lagos today are notorious for such crimes ,people have been complaining but they refused to do anything. If only our Government responds to necessary things in the country as fast as they mobilize police and security forces to Stop a Protest and how fast they acted on TwitterBan, the country would be a better place.

And funny enough , No such news about such daily happenings on naira land front page but if nah ordinary egungun dey fight for Ibadan one market o, and one person was killed or injured. The news would get to frontpage instantly. Naira land mods are pro APC .

Long bridge is now a danger zone. My people,I would advice once it's 5pm and you are trying to reach IBADAN or abeokuta on time, you should find your way to the train station. But if you a living around mowe, ibafo and it's environ,I would suggest you take bike. If you're traveling far away to the Eastern or Northern side,I would suggest you travel during the day.

May God protect us all as we don't have government anymore.

Crazy times.

I was in the food market recently and if you have been there too, you would see the many families that now struggle to eat a meal daily.

Actually, it is beginning to be so with the Nigeria average family- these Buhari days, eating more than ones is a luxury only the wealthy can afford. Even the staple garri.

So these boys on the bridge are victims, they left home, in search of jobs to support their families- but there are no jobs. Even those with postgraduate degrees are applying to be assistants and drivers and still are unemployed...

but then these boys I have earlier called victims soon graduate from being victims to becoming notorious terror themselves; creating too for many, worse situations than that which produced them.

They are available for the sustaining of the politicians that put them in those situations; it is some of them, attacking those who demanded more equity from the government, it is some of them, hijacking it, it is these boys that will be used to kill or maim their messiahs.

So initially, the boys in order to survive take on crimes... but sadly, rather than rob those who made them impoverished (the politicians and their sponsors), they rob those like their fathers, struggling to put a meal on the table for their families, they maim them.

The driver that is maimed or ‘robbed’ loses his job. His own young son has to drop out of school and join the road too. Luckily, he is lynched in his first attempt by the experienced robbers, who now find their vocation becoming congested.

It goes on and on... till there are many robbers than their are to be robbed.

When we begin to marry our sad experiences with our choices of leadership and handling of those empowered to organise society on our behalf then these things can change.

Who are they complaining to, a government they cannot control??

When we wail for restructuring and the decentralisation of the security services they will continue to support the governments that insist on keeping things the way they are.

Please let us be.

What is the way forward?

1. Police mobile force anti- robbery units need to be revitalized and have their emergency numbers given to drivers and general public , district by district. Also is the Amotekun force. 2. State government should support these units and package them with health and life insurance, patrol vehicles and logistics.
3. The most important of all is that government should create an enabling environment for businesses, monthly stimulus package for d unemployed Nationwide, give loans to starters, regular recruitment into public works, create many empowerment programs put them under the office of the VP.
4.(cut excesses like the Nigeria Senate, limit representatives from each state to 3, remove Minister's of states ,scrap redundant boards, check the excesses of most top federal civil servants who are stealing the nation's funds.)
5. Open boarders at least for now to check the current inflation of goods cos Nigeria cannot feed itself.
6. Restructure the judiciary cos they have become a very corrupt entity.from the courts to judges to police to armed forces.
7. Empower the EFCC chairman and make him answerable to only the president, corruption cases should be concluded within 6months without appeal. Secret investigation of government appointees, civil servants and top government officials. Investigate the University system from VCs to ASUU to NUC
8. The Governors forum should be abolished and the president should be given the power to withhold allocation of states that are not paying her workers monthly.

9. Revive NOA and SERVICOM and let's have a good country again.

they have a police station at the mouth of the bridge ,inbound Lagos.

Police and civil defence man the post.
But they do nothing , instead during the day time ,they move to a make shift checkpoint THEY CREATED INside the nearby BUSH ,to waylay trucks CONVEYING SAND From a sand dredging yard further down the bush.

The truckers pay them 500 each to pass out of the sandfil.

And if you're robbed and rush to report to the police men ,they will laugh at you and tell you "OGA NA TOY GUN DEM USE ROB YOU AND YOUR WIFE,YOU BE MAN ,YOU SUPPOSE TACKLE THEM NA"

What will I gain from a propaganda..

On this same bridge ,Fulani TERRORISTs killed a BIGADIER GENERAL during Obasanjo era. He was shot with an arrow and stabbed repeatedly with long swords after he was robbed .

He had a flat tyre and pulled up by the bridge to change his tyre ..

On this same bridge ,a church member was kidnapped by fulani TERRORISTs last year . He was taken into the nearby bush and tied to a tree.

Tortured for over 3 days . His wife paid over 9m
