In my costody order my husband have right to see my kids anytime he want, but now is nowhere to be found and I need consent letter from him. I have met with his elder brother and he ready to give me consent letter with his international passport attached to it and he want to explain that my ex is nowhere to be found since 2016… we divorced 2015 and ever since then he disappear .. pls can the consent of his family wl be okay with visa application. Abeg, at what point does UKVI start to consider the application as submitted? Is it after paying all the necessary fees or after uploading? My friend has payed all but he hasn’t uploaded because his POF is still remaining a few days but his checklist is showing “submitted date” and he is worried...
Any ideas? Make we start to worry?

Change of name based on marriage does not take time let her present all her documents to the bank.
It is only when you change your name based on other reasons that it takes time especially for males. Let her do it once and for all . 100%

If you upload your documents yourself you only need your international passport and a copy of your data page, the first page of your checklist and print out of your appointment date.
If you want assisted service then you need to go with all your documents listed on your CAS, statement of account, TB test result, wedding documents as a married woman, concent letter for your kids

In as much as we are in a hurry for September intake, we need to take some precautions. There are rules guiding this student visa. The timing is very important because each documents has it's own time.TB,pof, Cas. The Proof of fund is supposed to have settled for at least 28 days before your visa application. You cannot do your biometric without a visa application and you cannot do a visa application without meeting the proof of fund of 28days first, Any variance to this or you applied before pof is 28days is an automatic refusal. Same way lots of people were booking TB in april for sept/oct intake so earlier enough that the CAS was not out, they needed to then change the university. It should be one thing at a time, we won't waste resources ooo.
All these rushings are not required if one seized his time and plans ahead. Jan intake start now, sort schools and admission unconditional offer first, make your payment deposit for CAS, then TB, 28days can begin once others are complete, then apply after 28days within full 31 days of maturity of pof, I hate fire brigade approach, Check which one do you want to apply early, sept, Jan, may. You start on time. (My opinion)
