My brother, i have seen things with my eyes o. But if i recount my experience during my time as undergraduate eh, one may think i have beef with the other gender; but in all, there problem.
I came to realise why many men today are vowing not to marry graduates.

I don't know my children.

It is because our parents often compares there own children to one of there friends child who is successfuleg just because miss ademola son is doing medicine my son must do medicine. Comparisons like that . Not knowing that God created each to be great in his way .. is not everybody that will be doctor . Is not everybody that will be a success after school. Some people have talents that can made Dem great in life .... Sometimes sibling rivalry and favouritism.... And most of our parents don't really communicate to there children. Infact most parents see there children as slaves. Some mother's tell there daughter to follow money rather than love. They tend totell there daughter to find a wealthy man so she and her family wont suffer. And that why the divorce rate is high and many women and not happy in there marriage. They don't even teach there children sex education.. that's why there is increase in slay queens and sugar daddy dats why there is low percentage of virgins in Nigeria couple with sexual abuses , incest, child molestation. Not only has Nigeria failed us... Our parents has failed us the youth. The average Nigerian youth doesn't know his fundamental human rights. The system has bleeped us up

Parents of nowadays don't even care to know their children

I remember growing up, my elder sisters then will tell my mum who their friends were, the men toasting them. The one they like and dislike. And my mum will always advise them accordingly.

We were the smallys, so we just sat and listened to them, also picking the advice my mum dished out to them.

I also remember, then my mum would question them if they came home with goodies like pizza or tasty fiesta then and until they explained to the letter, no body will eat it. But some parents will see their children with big phones, cars that they know the child can't afford, they'll keep mute. How will the child not climb to worst levels?

Forget this generation. Though there are still a few good ones but majority are the cause of the communication gap between them and their children. No body cares these days.

People don't know that parenting is a full job which is more important than their pay job. What is the reason you seek a job? To be able to feed, educate and train your children. It is then very surprising you get employed then get carried away by the job and leaving out the supervision of your children.
