I don't know how to explain this but I don't think that making someone sin through temptation is the worst thing that Satan can do to a believer.

I think the worst thing is making that person to stop communicating with GOD in prayer by sending spirit of accusations against him and telling him that God can never forgive that person his sins thereby making the person reluctant to ask God for forgiveness through seeking His face in prayer.

So in essence what am trying to say is pushing someone to cut off communication with God is the worst thing that the devil can do to a believer.

You're right. But in my opinion, the worst satan can do to a believer is make them believe they're still in right standing with God whereas the Lord has turned His face away from them. That delusion of righteousness while sinning is the worst

Satan does nothing to anyone. He simply does what he has always done from the beginning.. tempt you as God has programmed him to do and you on the other hand make the choice to sin by disobeying God or not.

Sin is nothing but a choice you make against God's commandment to you. Blaming the devil for the choice you make only reveals even more how depraved you remain in all of it.

Satan does not do that either.

The one who knows he is living in sin(a choice made in disobedience of Jesus Christ's teachings) but still chooses to lie to himself that God is ok with him and his sins(disobedience) is the one responsible.
