1. President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, has approved the immediate disbursement of Fertilizer Subsidy Fund to Small Holder Vulnerable Farmers in the country.
2. These beneficiary farmers have been enumerated in the data base of Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in collaboration with State Agricultural Development Project (ADP) staff, under the Economic Sustainability Plan, and Agriculture for Food and Jobs Plan (AFJP).
3. The disbursement will be in batches, starting with Batch A, covering 1,209,143 farmers, with total subsidy of N6,154,802,000. This will enable the farmer source fertilizer in the open market.
4. Farmers enumerated but without BVN and bank accounts are encouraged to hasten to the nearest bank to open bank accounts and get BVN in order to benefit.
5. Farmers not yet enumerated are also encouraged to cooperate with the ADP’s and enumerators to get enumerated on their farms
6. We wish to commend highly the efforts of the State Programme Managers, Master Trainers and Ex-Npower beneficiaries for enumerating farmers nationwide.

Fmardpspace Fertilizer Grant 2021: Verified BVN Should Expect Fund 16/7/21-FG: The Federal Government through the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has started crediting AFJP farmers with the fertilizer Grant Subsidy

This statement was made by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, in appeal to the promised fertilizer subsidy program embarked by the government to small farmers

The Federal Government through the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD) has started disbursing grant funds to AFJP Farmers

The Grant Fund to Agriculture for Food and Jobs Plan (AFJP) farmers will not exceed N500,000 per farmers


AFJP Farmers To Get Below 500,000 as Grant

AFJP Farmers have started receiving their fertilizer grant fund,

First AFJP Farmers will get a “gram” amount ranging from N3000 ti N20000 as an enumerator sum due them by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture
The Subsidy grant sum will be between N200,000 to N500,000 per AFJP Farmer
The disbursement will be in batches, starting with Batch A, covering 1,209,143 farmers, with total subsidy of N6, 154,802,000. This will enable the farmer source fertilizer in the open market.
Farmers enumerated but without BVN and bank accounts are encouraged to hasten to the nearest bank to open bank accounts and get BVN in order to benefit.

Facts On Fmardspace Afjp Fertilizer Subsidy Grant 2021

The list is split into two batches: 1st batch and Second batch
The 1st Batch AFJP Farmers list of Shortlisted Candidate is out
Over N600 billion was approved to support all farmers across the country. For more information AFJP Farmers Loan Application portal
Farmers whose BVN has been validated by NIBSS will be credited directly to their bank account.
Payment processing begins this week as beneficiaries are been notified of ways to process their payment.
