My Previous post (I asked questions about Data Analysis job roles and the advice really helped thanks guys)

I'm at crossroads right now.

I just finished creating a portfolio website but don't know how to go about getting website design clients.

I'm a computer science student and I use platforms and tools like Wordpress and Shopify and Adobe XD very well but no money. I haven't had a job before so it's all new to me but I know I can still be smart with it even though I'm like a baby.

Last year I learnt UIUX Design and uploaded my portfolio works on Dribbble still the same thing.

I don't even know if I should start messaging people on facebook I think might need a website and start calling businesses and tell them about getting websites.

I can build any kind of wordpress websites even Shopify stores and also work with HTML CSS JAVASCRIPT PHP codes.

I can share my portfolio website and works if requested.

Why do you fear making your portfolio public?

Most employers would want to see what you've built to be sure you are not an imposter, so add the link to your projects you have online to this thread.

You don't have to make the source code public if you wish.

Op post your portfolio o. A guy posted his on twitter and got a job immediately. I posted a half ass job on Reddit and that's how I got my first remote job. You never know who is looking.

Anonymous but the guy said he has been looking for a jamstack developer to no avail. I told him my project was incomplete he said its okay I will learn more working with them. Interview was done like 30 mins after chatting me.

I created a Reddit account last night but the topics for website designs were overwhelming and my target prospects are not fellow website designers

I actually don't have Wordpress portfolio websites I have done only a Music Blog and My Portfolio website.

The rest are UI designs I made last year.

But I don't want to do UI again. I only added them to the portfolio website.

I'll try getting low cost clients and make no risk offers to them. Maybe charge only hosting and domain and small data.

I can whip you up any Wordpress and Shopify website and I learnt how to use Adobe XD during the COVID last year I did WhatsApp redesign about 14 screens fully Prototype even a Dashboard and some other works.

And I can work with any PHP and Javascript codes. Like I know how they works and can work with them

Yes

I was already into website design and UI UX Design so with words from others I realized I should just continue rather than swich cause I was having trouble finding my way with web design and UI Designs
