Igbo and Yoruba on nairaland shine your eyes, foolanis/Hausa will claim to be igbo just to insult and attack the yourubas, same Hausa/foolanis Will claim to be Yoruba to insult and and attack the igbo. foolanis/hausa are only active on nairaland, they are no where to find on Facebook, Twitter, or any international platform, Yoruba and igb hear this and hear it clear nairaland is faceless platform which does not require much data to login, that's why they are many here, that's why nairaland is childish platform. Yoruba and igbo on nairaland come to Facebook, Twitter, or any international platform and see the real igbos and Yorubas unity. I may abuse the yorubas out of ignorance before when I thought the yorubas are behind all those hateful threat against the igbos not knowing that it was foolanis and hausas who pretended to be the yorubas,...nnamdi kanu recent arrest have opened igbos eyes to know their common enemy, they only people who are celebrating his arrest is Hausa/Fulani, we have realized this that's why you see first time in history all the southern governors meet in Lagos. All this we south south na them, all this we Niger delta na them,

This is why a referendum is important for everyone to choose where they want to be. The way I see it, it is more convenient for people of same ethnic cluster to stay together.

Ijaw Republic : which consist of Bayelsa, parts of rivers, part of delta. (not sure about where the ijaws in ondo will fall into)

Ibom republic : which will most like consist of akwaibom state and the southern part of cross rivers state. The northern part of cross rivers state are very much related to the middlebelt.

Biafra : an all ịgbo nation.

Within the eastern part of the Niger delta, we will have ikwere, who have to join one country or form their own.

Western part of Niger delta, you have edo/Benin and Co who can as swell be on their own.

AfricanColumbus:
Allegiances Elsewhere.

For the Cross Rivers peoples there is an alternative that exists, but not within the Nigerian space. Contiguous with the Cross River peoples, in territory and in language and culture, lying further east across the border is the (unfamiliar but) exciting option of Southern Cameroon. Southern Cameroon offers a lots of positives : a much stronger, well diversified and established economy, huge tourism potential already being developed and harnessed, increased human resources and great demographics, reclamation of lost oil wealth (as the Southern Cameroons overseas the oil rich area of Bakassi), return and resettlement of the internally displaced people of Bakassi (who were transferred to Cameroonian sovereignty via a court ruling in 2008) as well as reunification with kith and kin in Cross River.
Other positives would be having the added major city centers of Beau and Bamenda.

On the flip side though, the territory of Southern Cameroons remains disputed. This is as a result of the refusal of the Cameroonian central government to recognize Southern Cameroons declaration of sovereignty from the Cameroonian Republic. This has led to an enduring war of attrition in the area since 2017. However with the readying balkanization of Nigeria, the disputed territory of Southern Cameroon may be fed fresh impetus in seeking for a sovereign Ambazonia, which may now co-opt familiar peoples across the border into a greater setup.
thrash. No one cares about you minorities. You guys should simply follow

I always tell people that if you want to know those who really want freedom, those who genuinely, are seeking their right of self determination, you will see them out in public agitating for such.

If someone had told me 5 years ago that any Yoruba man would have been out protesting and agitating for Oduduwa Republic, I would have laughed.

Igboho proved me wrong

My point is that if anyone seeks freedom in Nigeria, or from Nigeria, show it by getting the people out.

Kanu brought people out for Biafra

Igboho brought people out for Oduduwa

Ibom Republic? Nothing!

Ijaw Republic? Nothing!
