Anambra, Enugu, Ebonyi, Imo and Abia states are ONE.

Wawa, fio-fio or whatever

From the word 'wawa' which means 'no' in some parts of Enugu north senatorial zone and the whole Abakaliki block of Ebonyi state comprising of Ebonyi north and Central senatorial zones.
Just like an Abakaliki man will refer to an Anambra man as 'onye ijekebee' from the word "ijeko ebee" meaning where are you going.
Both are not derogatory, remember there was a time there was a clamour for Wawa state.

Exactly!
"Wawa" is not a derogatory word just a word used to describe part of Igbo land that says "No" as Wawa instead of Mba.

Wawa is a major subgroup of Igbo dialects spoken mostly in Enugu and Ebonyi and parts of Anambra. Nothing more.

I commend your comprehensive knowledge of the people and region that make up “Wawa” people.

However, just like the rest of the country sometimes employ “aboki” in a derogatory way, as the northerner will sometimes employ “nyamiri” in a derogatory way and the Igbo man will employ “onye ofe mmanu” in a derogatory way, so also is “wawa” sometimes employed in a derogatory way.

Yes, because just like the aforementioned words/phrases are not inherently derogatory so also is the word “wawa” not inherently derogatory but has over the years been used derogatorily on the Abakaliki people by mostly Anambra people.

So, there’s a greet degree of derogatory meant when the word is used.

They are traditionally smiths and carvers (wa = to cut). So some of the groups in Enugu and Ebonyi are called that even if they're not themselves because that's where smithing came from (check Lejja, and Opi Iron sites from the time of the Egyptians).

Awka people are also wawa, but there are many Awka people on this website calling ppl wawa as an insult because they're not raised at home and are effectively not even Igbo people anymore.

Awka is not Wawa. But they are closely related with Wawa people being their neighbors since creation. So there is lots of interchange of words and culture between both groups.
