NAF Acquires Super Tucano Aircraft to be given to Boko Haram in a week time.
You call them Boko Haram ( western education is forbidden) yet you think they can fly a 2021, military turbo prop. Nigerian brains are just good for street trading.

See them. Enemies of progress. You forgot a Nigerian like you will lose his life if your evil wishes come true
. Let's stop wishing death on these poor soldiers because u hate Buhari.
It's not really a wish, Nigeria airforce has successfully crash about 6 aircraft in the last 7 months, there's a probability that rest will crash another 3 or 4 b4 the yr runs out.

If bandits can shoot down an Alpha jet with jet engine known for speed, is it a propeller plane they will not shoot down? God save the pilots

Yes, it is an old fighter jet. It is a 3rd generation fighter jet. But it is going to be effective against the terrorists. But i strongly believe that equipping our air force with at least 4th generation fighter jets is the way to go.

Although the US won't sell any of its 4th generation fighter jets (like F-16) to us. But Russia has some good fighter jets that can change the face of our air force for good. SU-34 bomber & the new MIG-35 fighter jet will be just perfect for our air force.

The bomber SU-34, can stay in the air longer than any other fighter bomber in the world. It can also carry more payload than any other fighter bomber in the world. It can also protect itself with its electronic counter measures and its air to air missiles. It is a complete package. It is also highly maneuverable. This aircraft will be very very effective is the north east.

The new MIG-35 is a 4++ generation fighter jet. It is a air superiority fighter. It is equipped with AESA radar. This aircraft can compete with any other 4++ generation fighter jet in the world. It has top notch avionics and it is highly maneuverable. It is also equipped with laser guide system. This aircraft can protect our sky from any external aggressor any time any day.
Though.. I know it will be effective against terrorist..
You've just said what's on my mind we need a 4+ generation fighter, at least to counter external aggression..

Next plan,

Direct 8 to the South East to quell any perceived uprising, and 3 to the South West make them tremble. Leave the remaining 4 for bandits to crash
As a quota system pilot, are you volunteering to go on the bombing missions to the South? undecided

Funny how stupidity and bigotry made you say this

Please stop all these your "Quota Brain" responses, it is not getting you anywhere.
Buhari is not buying these planes to fight any Fulani Terrorists and Bandits, he is using money from Southern Nigeria Oil to equip his Jiahdist for the impending War between the North and South.
Imagine that all important military formations and hardware are in the North, even Super Tucanno could not be delivered in the Nation's Capital but will be kept in Kano. undecided undecided
No one is fooled.

You are not only brainless, you are dull, very dull!
They call themselves Fulani Herdsmen and Boko Haram but Buhari calls them Bandit.
We call them terrorists and dont forget they brought down a high speed Alpha Jet with Catapult, a week ago. undecided
Just compare the Speed of an Alpha Jet Fighter to this Propeller Plane and you will understand why they will us ordinary knockout Banga to bring it down grin grin
Anyway, Buahri bought the Toys to equip his Jihadist forces against the Southern Agitators, those are the only ones he can fight.

You don’t even answer my question
Is the USA airforce using it?
All USA bases have it best fighters jets upfront
Any jets the USA is not using as frontline is not good enough
Simple
Someone posted a report stating the US air force is now acquiring these light attack aircraft, yet you still asking if the US uses it?.... Maybe they must have acquired the planes to grind beans right? Meanwhile you even agree the US still actively uses the A-10 Warthogs, a simple google search should have told you theres a debate to replace the A-10s with Tucanos.

By the way, lets even assume the US airforce doesnt use it, does it make the planes useless?... Several posts on this thread already explained how these light planes are far more advantageous than the more sophisticated F16s, 22s, etc in counter insurgency (COIN) operations, which is exactly the peculiar problem Nigeria faces today, but somehow you still just dont get it right? It must be F16s.

Again, do you know those more sophisticated planes you keep insisiting on cost at least 20 times more than these tucanos? Do you know they also cost at least 20 times more to operate and maintain? Does your country have that kind of money or we just have to go for them because US has sophisticated planes? Why's there so much bitterness and negativity in this thread?

You funny cheesy
Guy, the USA has the biggest airforce in the world and the first thing they always do is use a new fighter jet by testing them in Middle East.
If those jets are powerful as you said, the USA airforce will not debate on them to replace A-10, they will just replace them.

Just pray make BH no shot am down else I go quote you cheesy
