My issue is that where and when did Igboho or any Yoruba nation activist ask for the support of any south southerner? Every sensible Yoruba knows that it's either restructuring or a total break up and not some yoruba presidency that would benefit just a few. Yorubaland stops at ilaje in ondo state so how does the agitation concern an Edo or deltan man? This old man is feeling funky and important.
It includes our Itsekiri brothers in Delta. They are part of the agitation; we saw their delegates in the Yoruba nation rallies.

We are not land grabbing or forcing anybody against their will, but at the same time, we will not disown our kins who identify with our struggles and have indicated interest to join us because of artificial colonial or military or political fraudulent delineation.

Okun of Kogi, Itsekiri of Delta, Yorubas of Kwara, even Yorubas of Benin republic are proud to associate themselves with the great people of SouthWestern region.

Why are u very selfish? Those percentages u quoted are not for derivation, u need to understand the content of PIB. 30% put in the bill is for oil exploration on offshore regions including NC, SE, NW and SW states while the 3% is for the communities where oil is being drilled beside the 13% derivation given to the states but u are ignorantly claiming North getting 30%, 30% for what?
The fmr Senator is right, if SW and SE voted for the support of N/Delta interest they'll definitely get the needed 2/3 quorum to achieve their interest.

Majority of the "frontier basins" is in the north. Besides,standard procedure for oil exploration is that the prospecting company bears the cost and not the country,so why taking money from the south to look for oil in the north when the IOC can do that?
