Ifeanyi Ejiofor: Britain Likely Connived With Nigeria In Nnamdi Kanu's Arrest by IhateYouMan: 10:48pm On Jul 28, 2021
Ifeanyi Ejiofor, a lawyer to the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has said the British government has a hand in his alleged “abduction”.

Ejiofor made the accusation while speaking on Arise TV’s Morning Show on Wednesday.

He also accused the British Government and the British High Commission of not doing much to help Kanu despite him being a British citizen.

Ejiofor claimed the Commission has not visited the IPOB leader since he was brought back to Nigeria.

He noted that unlike Kanu’s 2015 arrest when the Commission was regularly visiting him while in detention, the British Commission is paying lip service to helping him this time around.

He said: “I can confirm to you that British High Commission is not doing much about this case. I can confirm to you that there is every likelihood of connivance in what happened to my client.

“Because some times in 2015 when my client was arrested I know how they were keeping in constant communication with him and visiting him regularly both when he was in DSS custody and when he was transferred to prison.

“But as of yesterday, a British national was arrested and till date they have not visited him even when we have officially notified them of the situation.

“As at the time he was arrested, he was arrested as a British national because he had renounced his Nigerian citizenship over five years ago. And they are still talking about offering him consular services,” he said.

I laugh at ndigbo who don't actually know the British government. The British government calls Nigeria it's largest company in west africa. They are major shareholders and have the fulanis as business partners. If you expect them to penalize nigeria then you are exactly what they want you to be; confused....

As long as Fulanis control power at the centre Britain will always support them, they don't really want a prosperous Nigeria just like America don't want to see a prosperous Haiti

Because the BHC isn't doing much about his arrest, then it means they connived with the dullard's government to arrest him?

MNK is first and foremost a Nigerian... The BHC never asked him to run his mouth like unnecessarily...

MNK became useless to me when he became uncouth and abusive...

He should learn to speak with a good sense of humor....

Ojukwu command the heart of every ibo man because of how he addressed situations without abuses...

I laugh
These IPOB guys don't know that Britain is their worst enemy

I am sure they were irritated about the fact that a Nigerian fugitive was flourishing in their land

Nigeria is basically a UK main ally

It takes wisdom nah. Which country would like to identify itself with a criminal? Unlike 2015, his case is different now. Can Britain tolerate the killing of its security agents & civilians? Emotions don't win in courts, only facts do.

Kanu of 2015 is different from Kanu of 2021. The moment He takes up arm against the government.

When Kanu was accusing his colleagues at Radio Biafra of working for Britain's MI5 he didn't know a day would come when he would need British assistance.
This is what happens when a man boast too much. He started believing in his own invisibility thinking he was bigger than his hosts
(the Brits)

Buhari should please end this movie and give Kanu a fast judgement.

That was what Putin did to Nalvany. Before any human right or agitation could come-up, Nalvany had been sentenced already.

Buhari should capitalize on the Big Brother Naija season and nail Kanu fast.

News media should stop interviewing this man.

I don't understand how he is finding this amusing, initially he claimed UK gave him a Form, and coined mumbojumbo "a prospect of a UK court assuming universal jurisdiction or extra-territorial jurisdiction".

Now he is accusing the same UK less than few days after grin.

He is damaging his reputation and soon MNK will have to axe him of his case.
