This is beyond just taking bribe, he received proceeds of fraud and aided and abetted fraudulent acts. Many of the victims of those scam were from the US, kyari knew the source of the money was from fraudulent activities and he still collected it to help them cover some lose ends. And the report says he also received money from Hushpuppi on other occasions, I bet there's more info yet to be revealed. In The application for the Warrant of arrest, the FBI clearly stated that they didn't release the full details of his crime yet, they just released a few enough to get the warrant issued by the judge.
