I want to share my experience back then in jss with a simping teacher.

It was a Friday morning, I was still in jss 3 then preparing for my junior waec. I got to school late that day because I was depressed due to my dogs death. As I entered the school premises, one of the teachers stopped me and told me to join the other late students in kneeling down, which I did without hesitation. After the matching in song, the teacher came and said he'll flog us 6 strocks each. Nobody objected until he said he won't flog the girls, they'll just pick round the school and go inside the class. One nasty senior from ss1 just stood up and said " kojo" meaning impossible. How can you flog the guys and leave the girls alone. The teacher became furious and went to report to the principal. The principal is female. She followed him to where we were kneeling and asked the senior From ss1 to stand out, we thought she was gonna flog the hell outta him but she said something that stunned everyone. She said " mr kunle your decision is very wrong, are the female students better than the male?, don't you know things like this can cause gender related wars". He was trying to defend himself but she calmly told him to shut up. One small boy from jss1 stud up and said mummy ( principal ) that is how all the teacher behave, they don't flog the female students. Immediately, she summoned all the teachers from the staff room and gave them the warning of their lives. She later told everyone to pick round the school and go inside the class. That is the importance of the good standing up to challenge injustice. The guy risk even been flogged or being shouted down but he stood up for something. We as Nigerians especially the good ones with conscience need to start behaving like this or else remain enslave by corrupt political elite that are in power. Start from your own family and circle of friends and stand up for the truth. Say "kojo" the injustice and corrupt leaders and bad governance.
