Reason: I want to use this to appreciate the God of Elijah for His deliverance in my life. Today by His Grace I am now a mother to a beautiful girl of almost 2years and a handsome boy of 5Months

From my true life story on the nairaland thread, why did I blame and fight God for my step siblings/family life backwardness while I was younger?

I feel you blamed God because you thought your mom and siblings were genuine believers/children of God, yet suffering, you never knew some truths. It was also because you were a Christian that time, but you were not applying all the necessary principles to handle that situation. The principles of loving your enemies, forgiveness and complete trust in God.

I can remember where you said that the holy spirit reminded you that she is your mother, irrespective of what she is, that Bible says "children honour your father and mother".

I can also remember another example where you had an attack in the night through a dream, despite that you prayed, till the holy spirit showed you a particular sin which was an opening through which the enemy used to attack you. Hope I'm correct, I read your thread long ago .

Straight forward answer, not by power nor by might, u can't fight God.

It looked as if God was responsible for their affliction and suffering since the more they pray the more problems they have.

Because you were young, and you didn't fully understand the ways of God.
