Abohboy: Your ideas could have worked like 5-6 years ago or even some months ago, when stern IPOB followers are for the Igbos all over the zone (which they tried by bringing awareness of Igbos in Kogi and Benue especially) and championing for the inclusion and rights and many southern minorities but now even the staunchest of them are now turning towards proud Igbos only and probably Ibibios and the rest on the east. For your ideas to work, you must understand and respect how your intentions align. You must start with your own people first. Despite how solid and resolute the wall these guys here have been that you couldn't penetrate, if they see changes from the other side they are always bendable. Let your intentions be pure and try to see where your goals align. 2 Likes |

SlayerForever: How do you think they got their goods to the British? and how they got British goods and weapons themselves? It was through the Aboh ( Eboe ) traders |

Abohboy: Noble plans. But ditch them. Unite with the rest of Igbo as a major ethnic group. Then together, as the great Igbo nation, fight for what we want. |

Abohboy: Awka works was soughted around the whole southern extremeties of precolonial Nigeria, from Benin westwards to, I dare say, Cameroon in the East. How do you call that depending? If I'm to digress a bit: Mind you there were several routes around : Bonny river, Imo river, and numerous estuaries. How can you claim you controlled this area with all the estuaries? It's almost impossible. Yet again, if you controlled trade along the Niger, where were the Ijaw and other subtribes who are nearer to the coast and lived along these many rivers? |

SlayerForever: I've stated it before, if i'm going to give up on Nigeria one more push towards unity and development must be undertaken if it still fails and the right leader is not brought into power then and only then can we agree that Nigeria will not work and the north will split from the south and from there we can decide what we want do. |
