I want to book bus from Heathrow airport to Manchester, but I'm unsure how much time it'll take from landing to 'check out' to concluding all immigration protocols.

Please, may I get guidance on how much time our stay in the airport is likely to last plus any tip on how best to travel to Manchester after dropping down in Heathrow.

Thanks.

If you're carrying any sort of luggage exceeding hand baggage, it might not be easy to maneuver with it.
In your shoes, I would book a straight flight to Manchester.

So all those care jobs people are talking about isn't as much as we think there, but what about jobs at other cities, is it possible to commute to other cities where jobs are from hull?
And I saw something about it being a large concentration for engineering jobs on their website... so even after graduation sef person no go fit get better work for the city?, I'm an engineer too thats y I dey ask... thanks

What about Middlesbrough, Teesside University @ zeecos
I studied Chemical Engineering there. In my class, everybody who got jobs got them in other cities in England. 2 of my friends who insisted on staying back in Hull are still unemployed till date. Mind you, they are British and they both graduated with First Class.
As for Middlesbrough, I don’t know anything about it. I’ve never been there.

Many thanks for this. I'm in the same predicament I bought freehold newbuilt but have to pay a small maintenance fee. In all fairness to the management company the place is well maintained. I rather pay a small fee than them transfer it over to the council.

I think the title should just be changed to “Life as a Prospective UK Student”, so that we can unfollow and/or start another thread for UK immigrants, then the takeover would be complete.

It’s not a coincidence that all the invaluable contributions by the veterans have suddenly dried up lipsrsealed angry

The only thing that might take time in this is collecting your baggage, for me, it didn't take more than 30 mins from landing to baggage claim.

Budget 3-4 hrs for immigration, baggage claim , toilet, look look etc. With covid it might be more.

Why not book straight to Manchester??

Thank you!
Tickets already bought long time ago when I thought we'd quarantine in London. Can't change now.

Thanks for your response. Was it your first time traveling to the UK? That is, did you have to show papers and documents for the first time?

Yes, it was my first time, and I showed only my offer letter and Brp letter to the officer.

This is really helpful, thank you.
Had suspected that though from the map, looking like an outskirt from the mainstream.
Zeecos:

Take it from someone who has graduated from there, Hull is overrated. Sure, the fees are cheap now but it’s a very small town with very little job opportunities.

Hello, please does anyone here know the regulations for travelling to Nigeria as a fully vaccinated Nigerian? Checked out the protocols on https://nitp.ncdc.gov.ng/onboarding/guidelines but there was no mention of vaccinated travellers. Do I still need to undergo quarantine if I travel to Nigeria with proof of complete covid-19 vaccination?
